I didnt find anything about edge but I'm sure that this phone have mobile-linux and u will not run most app from pc linux only by instaling some sotware there is a few games and app for this phone (http://www.motorolafans.com).

darklord as i said before in e2 posts my uncle works in moto EUROPE
he told me about this phone.
and he told me that due to faulty software only (e2) was released unofficially
e2 will be lauched officially in january 2007 and e6 will follow e2 may be after 1 2 3 4 .... months as e2 followed e1
these formats are suported by the fone and can be applied as ringtoones too.....thats crazy
MP3, WMA, MIDI, AAC, AAC+, AMR, WAV, RA
e6 has
3D stereo speaker (1 at top one at left and one at right) (three speakers)
3.5mm headset jack
well this phone has no official photo yet i think thats y it looks ugly here
and listen all new moto fones have 3g or edge......................... OS is not LINUX-BASED its LINUX (a1200)
the fone will apear in red black white and silver
well thats what i know see whats true whats................

hi haider, nice to have u. well you say that this phone supports EDGE class 32, but why gsmarena isn't telling it. Man what do you say, will i buy this one or buy the e2. Also it's more costly than normal phone.

OK, I am right, but isn't motorola missing something, this phone ROCKS, but where is EDGE, even ROKR E2 has EDGE Class 6, what will we do with slow speed, this is a great phone, but hey gsmarena can you tell motorola about htis...lol

The idea for collaborating between touchpanel and music is good, but the look is ZOOO not ROKR! more likely a bussiness phone i guess

this is not meant to replace the A1200. the A1200 has been such a smash hit in china, it has taken the country by storm. they will never let it go. this is just the upgrade to the E680i, that's why it's ROKR -E6-

Played with this baby in April, its a thin phone with a huge screen. Yes it is linux,gsmarena please add. With a hugh glass coateed screen and SD hot swap. 3.5mm with music dedicated keys. Same Music application as rokr E2 qith equalizers, arent u guys attracted?? QVGA screen

Another Moto-linux phone, it's cool but...
A1200 looks betther than this E6 and I hope there will be next generation of A1200.
What can I say about E6 is that this phone have one hardware improvement comparing to A1200 - 3.5mm headset jack;) Still no EDGE or 3G and I think the same camera as A1200 (without autofokus). I hope that Motorola improved hardware and fixed some bugs.
Still waiting for something like A1200 (or next version of it) ...beware of MS system, Linux rulezzz;P
