it's cheap, it's got a memory card and plays MP3 and a Radio with RDS and worth every penny. It's a great alternative to expensive phones. Data transfer is easy with a PC.

the phone does not have bluetooth & infrared !!! data transfer is very difficult task what one will do with memory card ???
its really no value for money.

sure it can record clips from the radio.

it does not need a driver to connect and transfer music. however u need a driver to connect and charge from a PC.

you can access music files from the card by going to music - open options are phone or storage card.

U've said it all friend, ... price vs features:- a great phone no doubt. About text problem, just press # button until u get the format u want.

We can have MP3 ringtones... when you open a MP3 file press the center button (enter)- Set as MP3 ringtone (in the option menu)

Everything is clear about this phone except the ringtone. Can we have mp3 ringtones from memorycard (any mp3 song) ? Please make me clear...

This if perfect for people working in bpo or secure data environments. awesome job by MOTO...

music qulaity is onpar with other music phones(if u listen only through earpiece)..speaker is ok but not as good as sonyerricson....

drivers available in moto website
1. to charge the phone using USB data cable when connected to pc
2. for using the phone as modem

both works fine

u dont need any drivers to connect the phone as storage device..when connected select yes on phone to connect as usb storage

you can make play lists(kind of..) by creating folders in music folder, each folder has "play all" which plays all songs inside it...u can setup shuffle and repeat

does anyone know how to change default text input method... i dont want auto text..everytime i have to change it manually when typing....

i purchased w230 mobile... thanks 4 the previous opinions.. ths is a gud phone..
u need 2 download an instal a driver, after tht u can transfer mp3 files.

regardin msgin.. in w220 words r displayed @ bottom line of screen and on main msgin screen also. but in w230 words come on only bottom line(option line),after wards we need 2 use space bar button , is this setting option on phone..? if so let me knw
