> In reply to Mina @ 2010-11-19 11:10 from NhU0 - click to readYou need to check this site (http://blogs.sonyericsson.com/products/) 1st and look if your kit is included in the roll out. To do so, Check your Sales Item (SI) number printed on the label on the back of your phone or on the box. This Sales Item number should consist of 4 digits, a dash and then 4 digits more. there could also be a .X (eg. SI XXXX-XXXX.X) & look if its listed there. If its already listed there, you can proceed to download the latest version of PC Companion & do the update.

This won't get Android Gingerbread because the shortage of RAM size (only 384MB) on X10. Gingerbread requires 512MB of RAM.

> In reply to Phoenix @ 2010-11-19 11:19 from j5Pg - click to readI missed this detail in the new review. I will wait for the next update and maybe it will reappear as before (TimeScape as homescreen). After all it would be better to give the choice...

> In reply to rebel @ 2010-11-19 19:09 from 3Twg - click to readDear the thing i want to point out is the difference between good and best. if nokia can enable 16 m colors on that low price phone then it means that the technology is not expensive. so its not a big problem for SE to enable 16m color considering the fact that X 10 supports 16 m colors (but SE enabled only 65 k). Do this makes any sense. please read first post of mine the things i pointed out are worth noticing. And also do check samsung AMOLED screens. Despite of its low resolution (480*800) as compared to i phone S-LCD retina display (around 650*900) its superior in terms of deep blacks, viewing angles, contrast, power consumption. TFT display of X 10 is simply out of competition here.
your point of 8mp snapper is worth noticing but 5mp (SAMSUNG WAVE OR GALAXY) is not bad at all considering the fact that it can also record HD videos.

After a week of using the new 2.1 update, I can say Sony has really done an amazing job. The phone got faster, believe it or not, and it was amazing fast before. The issue I had with the camera sometimes not opening is gone, and the browser has ever received a welcome update. Cant wait for the next update, which will most likely be 2.3.

> In reply to Sagar @ 2010-11-19 18:35 from upe% - click to readSorry Dude! If you get offended. It's not about love, it's about choice and what you like. But why do a sales pitch here? Also, just by looking at the huge logo in capital letters alone, my interest on that phone wanes considerably already. HTC, never seen one before, sorry. Also, if it doesn't come in white, I am not interested. They all looks the same to my untrained eyes...

> In reply to Roar... @ 2010-11-19 18:09 from mI6c - click to readDude its not a battle going on. See i can understand your love for X10 but when its come to review you should be honest enough. My opinion is completely based on market research. I did complete analysis of competition and even went to malls to check what is offered by the competition. If you ant to see then check for yourself. Samsung wave, Galaxy, HTC DZIRE just check out these phones they are simply amazing!!!I didn't mean that X10 is a bad phone but what i mean is if sony ericsson can improve their product in these aspects which i mentioned before then they will definitely throw away the competition!!!My analysis is based on the facts and not on the love towards the product.
