Sidekicks will probably never have Wi-Fi because that's where T-Mobile gets a good amount of their money: Sidekick data plans.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-04-17 14:53 from vxm0 - click to readNo wifi due to battery drain. This slim means battery capacity will be adversely affected.
remember you cannot tell which apps within the Danger OS to use which connection: 3G or Wifi; S60/WinMo/Android you can. Also with push style email & so many IM clients running 24/7 you wouldn't get past 6hrs with wifi connection using all of that. Great upgrade though with the slim look, better screen, and 3G connection! This is the Sidekick that shoud've debuted back in 2007 with Sidekick III and by now it would be a serious contender to BB. Their not too different with basic hardware and java based core. But I'd like to see more support for 3rd party applications: no more restrictions to Tmobile approval.
