Samsung...keep on creating Note and Galaxy series and one soon your estimates of millions of these series being sold will just be a dream..
Nexus series are just pure awsomeness...these manufacturers add their own skin which makes it laggy!!!
Samsung - Its time for you to fall..
Atleast Nokia reigned for a decade...you could make even half of it.
I have both s4 and s5. I preffer s4!
I have both s4 and s5. I preffer more s4!
Everyone is buying the flagship Galaxy Note instead.
Samsung play around too much with their customer by launching so many product variant. It hurts their customer feeling. I think Samsung should learn how the big mobile phone manufacture fall. Siemens...Motorola...Nokia...maybe Samsung is next?
It's too big
It's too ugly and boreing
It has many features that are not necesarry. No one needs finger-print scanner, variaus sensors, waterproofness and etc. Every time your have to open USB port to plug charger. Why pay for it?
And that power... It's not necesarry as well. There are phones on the market better looking, smaller and cheaper.
Samsung don't make any innovation in S5 as compare to S4
simply they change the snapdragon 800 to 801, Chinese companies much improve our phones systems
And still Galaxy S4 is far better than the Galaxy S5
Smaller and yet packs the amazing tech
they cant sell cos of they building 10 diffent variant of same model.using different chipsets, thats why low developer support, and less sold than s3 the legend.
I think the real reason for the drop is .. Galaxy S series were the top of the line mobiles when they were released and a bit of a must have. But now with the note series to be honest S5 didnt even interest me to see the specs (well maybe just to see the specs!) I however do not think this as a decline trend for samsung mobiles.. they definitely should consider their overall phone sales.. and ya their sky-high price tags these days make almost no sense to buy them either ..
AnonD-209094, 24 Nov 2014S3, working? Well if you call that lag "working" we can blame it on a very loose def... moreI still have s3 and it doesn't lag. I DECIDED not to buy s4 and then s5. The current note models are too big for my hands so I'm kinda stuck with my phone. Will check s6 next year though.
Digitimes Research released its third-quarter reports outlining the state of the smartphone industry. It seems Samsung, Apple, and LG are the global top-three smartphone makers at the moment, followed by Chinese heavyweights Huawei, Xiaomi, and Lenovo at the fourth, fifth, and seventh spots. However, it is the bunny-loving Xiaomi that's leading the pack in terms of shipment growth. Meanwhile, ZTE, a considerably important Chinese telecom and vendor, has completely disappeared from the top 10 list.
the software has lot of lags and freezes and the phone looks cheap
The reason why S5 sold equally with S4 is because it doesn't have anything new except a 64 bit processor and a 3Gb of ram. Other features that should be added/change like 4000 or above battery capacity, a wireless charging capability, radio, internal storage starting at 32 or 64 GB, resolution to the overheating of the device, and it's much more like Xperia Z2 only not having a radio. Plus, a lot of galaxy phones and with the blackmailing of apple iphones where iphones are wall huggers. And they treat apple like they know every move that they made. Now with new upcoming galaxy phones running on 64 bit chips. How much are they mean to loose a profit?
the main reason i don't like the s5 it's because it is too damn big!! the s4 was cutting it in the size department, but was respectable given it's screen to body ratio and considering the discrete navigation buttons. They need to stop the bigger it's better madness
This is what happens when you get too greedy.
Multiple releases filtering down the quality of flagship/s, too many variants & so much competition catching up.
Lots of stock sitting in warehouses eh??
I'll take one off your hands Sammy! Send me one for free pls! ;)
AnonD-209094, 24 Nov 2014Thanx for that reminder, yet another area where we see other brands, Sony in particular, recei... moreI used to be a massive fan of Samsung but its beyond a joke, what I cant comprehend is how management at Samsung are signing these phones of remember few years ago
Samsung Y - Low range
Samsung Ace - Midrange (Little more to low than high)
Samsung S series
Samsung Note
They had this on lockdown 4 devices a year spot on IMO
Samsung must change design of mobile phones and take care small things such as fm radio etc.
AnonD-314503, 24 Nov 2014Because samsung flagships are so shortlived. By month or two, there's S5 plus, alpha, note 4, ... moreThanx for that reminder, yet another area where we see other brands, Sony in particular, receiving heavy critic and Samsung walks away with their reputation in one piece despite changing flagships just as often. Especially in western Europe and other mature markets expect North America the S3 was incredibly shortlived and became unavailable after just months when the S3 LTE came out only to be dethroned by Note 2, then the exact same happened with S4, the S4 Advance was the only S4 available in most Western Europe markets for most of its time as Samsungs flagship, then Note 3 dethroned S5 Advance, and simply repeat that for the S5 and Note 4. So, 3 flagships a year for the last 3 years, but Sony is getting all the hate for their 2... Call Ripleys Believe It Or Not, its mindblowing.
