As mentioned earlier in an another thread, the version of the TP2 that Telus will be receiving will included a 3.5mm headphones jack, which is craze news.
Nothing had been said about the US version, but it now seems that the devices to be sold trough carriers in the states will also get the version with the standard jack. That's some crazy great news, and in my opinion is ample justification for having the TP2 released in North America a few months later than it was in Europe. Woot!

I was currently with an employee at t-mobile and they would like to lock you on a 2 year data contract which is $25 net only and $35 net and texting. They were speculating a $299 with 2 year contract and $599 no contract deals, but this is subject to change as the release was recently pushed back to Aug. 15th.
US carriers blow so bad, I cannot wait to go back to Europe and get spoiled with some nice customer service.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-07-25 00:51 from jrY$ - click to readIf this is indeed for T-mo U.S... Will it work on T-mo 3G network or will it only be on T-mo EDGE. The spec of the TouchPro2 only showing 3G Network: HSDPA 900 / 2100. T-mo U.S. 3G Network is 1700/2100
Can anyone comment on this. Thanks

> In reply to Ivan SDiego @ 2009-07-26 04:12 from 4YBb - click to readno we do not have a contract for the hero, t-mobile U.S. will never get the hero, we will be getting other android devices with the same software but it wont be the hero. I hate it when people get on this site and act as if they know anything about wireless, get into the industry before you open your mouth.
