Muthu, 23 Dec 2014Dude, QHD's time will come in future. Now is not the time for it though. Let battery,CPU/GPU, ... moreExactly. Someone seems to get it....
Well done HTC. Dont follow stupid trend of QHD Full HD is more than enough. Just keep good work what you already been doing. Hopefully you will have proper shooter too.
Finally a perfect phone :) hope they also release developer edition for pure android experience!
The only qhd phone that's not a battery hog is the note 4. Having said that, qhd will be the standard in the future. As for now, 1080p is perfectly acceptable.

Let battery,CPU/GPU, display power consumption develop to the required levels. Then QHD will be an automatic choice. Till then, let phones have FHD.
The only thing that bothers me is hte CPU. i wish it was a quad core single chip with 2.7 Ghz.
Gladly FHD ,with SD810 much better battery life , snappy .
QHD make sense on bigger displays ,I'm using m7 and its ppi is still top notch !!!
Taz26, 23 Dec 2014It's dumb to go for QHD displays... it hogs up more battery and to our naked eye there is no d... moreIt does make a difference. but i dnt think that current generation smartphone need QuadHD display. yeps lags, freeze
sura twifu, 23 Dec 2014If it's not having qhd worst mobileYes QuadHD is really nice looking, sharp and etc.. but have you seen the Lg G3 performance compared to the M8?? thats because of the quadhd screen eating up most of the phone processing power. Dnt talk to say nothing, QuadHd is still in experimental phase there is a lot of improvement to make to it, so FULLHD is the perfect display for smartphones rightnow. ;) Hope you understand

Everything is perfect about the Hima except for the display, 5 inch full hd is good but i think a 5.2 or even 5.5 inch with little to no bezel would be perfect. Anyway no matter what HTC for life ^^
AnonD-144115, 23 Dec 2014Dear gsmarena y u r so sad ???? Everybody is not asking for QHD screen. Be neutral in your post ...Agree!!!
FHD in 5 inch is the best combination.
I will rather have Full HD Display. As long as it have 4K video recording.
Having more than Full HD means less available content. Less Wallpapers, worse looking Youtube, Worse looking videos, worse looking games. Not enough content for higher resolution yet.
I want Full HD
I'm not sad about the lack of QHD resolution at all. Compared my G2 screen with that of the G3 and really don't feel that left out with my phone's 1080p screen. Its my opinion though...
Seriously, if phone companies want to put QHD that's one thing, but no need to write as if people are crazy for it. Quite unnecessary tech and wasteful.
Nice specs but I hope they bring 4Gb of Ram.
FHD? Not QHD? Thank god HTC doesn't follow the QHD hype. Hooray for FHD :D
Premium screen protector... but do you really need one? I've been using my LG G2 for over half a year, its back got a bit scratched in a few falls, but the screen is still in perfect condition, without the use of any sort of film or protection. I've used screen protector films in my previous phones and they really helped (plastic screens), but I wonder weather its really needed in a smartphone with Gorilla Glass, as in my case and HTC One M9.
If you live in a place with a lot of sand, you definitely need a screen protector, or better - a case, as sand tends to scratch even most resistant surfaces over time.
