Damn...
so cheap? Where i live, carriers and stores charge over $240 for this phone ._.
I really doubt you'll find a better phone for this price... I just bought one and ditched my android phone... If you don't use a zillion apps and just use facebook, pandora, youtube (non youtube super user- just look up a few videos every now and then you'll be fine).
This has 8gb internal which was enough for my app storage.. it supports 128gb sd card for videos and whatever else if you need it.
The screen is acceptable. The glass for the screen is very nice - gorilla glass 3.
The CPU in this phone is a MONSTER for the price. The CPU performance is on par with the expensive Lumia 1020 believe it or not.. what a difference a year makes in hardware.. this is a 2014 phone.
The camera takes acceptable photos.. the video is acceptable.
Again folks, this ain't no iphone - maybe compares to an iphone 3GS camera and video wise.
Now... as far as the other hardware - the LTE radio in this phone is INSANE... I got 50 megabit down and 10 megabit up on the interstate in Alabama - I'm sure it won't disappoint elsewhere either.
The days of expensive high performance hardware will soon be over.
Smartphones are becoming like DVD players - they all work about the same as far as anyone can tell.. Get the cheapest one and move on- we're ALMOST to that point with smartphones. I think we will be in 2 years.
Camera, screen, video... midrange...
Call quality, audio quality , loudness of the speakers on this phone.. LTE radio quality etc.. Phone processor... top notch as far as I'm concerned. QUITE good.. Maybe not the best of 2014 but nearly the best performance of 2012, 2013 hardware.
Price versus performance - unbeatable.
I got mine at Walmart for $70 during black Friday. It keeps getting lower and lower. I wish the Tmobile version would go lower than $99 but it has not. I guess that is why Tmobile sells the 530 at the lower price point. I can not wait till next year and see if a Windows Phone flagship come out from Microsoft.
how can i get it
Veljko, 26 Dec 2014Can it be used on all GSM networks worl wide (Europe for example)?Yep. But it's probably locked to the Att network.
I purchased 3 for the same price during that Microsoft sale and was lucky enough to get them unlocked by Att because I am a current customer. I gave them all away as xmas presents to my family in NZ. Worked there no worries.
