The X2 might be in trouble. No real updates to phone. Old speed, not much increase in screen size. Check out Acer F1 (cheaper than X2 and bigger screen) and HTC Leo (HTC HD2) HUGE screen and fast, and cost about the same as X2!!!!!! I was going to get X2, but don't know now?????????

Adiel I'm with you the Xperia X1 is the most elegant and powerfull mobile on earth and I can't wait to get the X2. Two years ago I used to play with Nokia E65 it was a nice phone never gave me a problem but with the xperia and the help of xda my knowdegde and satisfaction are now on top.Ciao

Ok..now seriously, can any nokia fanboy tell me whats so special about N900 and why X2 is crap??I mean apart from different os everything offered by N900 is being offered by x2 also.

Same resolution, same video playback/recording,both are elegant, both have qwerty, both have resistive touchscreen, same RAM, nokia has big internal memory but that's not something everyone needs and X2 can have upto 16gb card which is more than enough, N900 has 5mp camera while X2 has 8mp camera...
so all nonsense aside why is N900 a great device and why X2 is not good???I am confused, X2 is a great device too, what can N900 do that X2 cannot?
Please no noob bullsh*t like windows is crap because windows is a great os, you just need to know how to tweak it.

PS. Maybe because I am a SE fan but if you look at it unbiasedly X2 is more sexy and more eye catching, just look at the new pictures of X2, But you don't have to agree with me on this one if you don't feel like :-)

All you need to do is to copy your music file to ...windws\system.. folder and you should be able to find it where you set the alarm/SMS sound.

is this one with capacitive screen?
is there any chance to set any *.mp3 ringtone for lets say alarm,sms sound? on diamond this is impossible.

This question is too complicated or close to impossible to answer, not only bacause i haven't testet the X2, but also nobody actually knows how stable the Winmo 6.5 will be on any devices, as HTC is yes to release the Touch2 with 6.5

What i do know is that the Xperia X2 deserves the same chance as any other device til proven otherwise. There is a big chance that SE have learned from their core programming mistakes with the Xperia X1, but there is equally big chance that they haven't.

But i can with full confidence tell you right now that if the new HTC devices with Winmo 6.5 fail to deliver, than i will be very surprised. The only phone from HTC that ever really disapointed me was the HTC Diamond, that was one piece of non responsive junk aimed at the mainstream fashion market, just horrible. And i am glad that HTC learned from that release never to do it again.

The main design centre where the SE phones are intitally drawn, designed and prototyped is in Lund, Sweden, and then they go on to Gothenburgh.

It is not easy to find information about Tom Waldner, but he is the Senior Design Manager at Sony Ericsson and he is maker of the Saito. I know this because i was at a coporate seminar back in May where he talked about the Saito and how he created it.

I think you have misunderstood me, i have never worked at Sony Ericsson, but i used to work for Ericsson, before Sony came, then i got a offer to work for HP.

I use HTC phones because i love Windows Mobile and the open software it provides with all the posibillites for you to do whatever you want. The reason i don't use SE is because i think HTC devices are far too superior when it comes to handling Windows Mobile the Se phones, and i don't think SE is ready for Winmo yet.

Any selfrespecting Winmo lover is not gonna use SE Winmo devices until all the annoying baby deseases are gone and it's ready for the task, which certainly by any means is not now.

When it comes to handling Winmo right now, HTC devices are like Ferraris and SE is like Nissan Micra from 1989. But if you haven't tried a HTC device with Winmo, then you won't know that the grass is greener on the other side, and if you are a SE lover, then i suggest that you don't try HTC, you better of not knowing what you are missing.

Actually Sweden is good in mobile technology, and in other things too, this is my opinion. They made mistakes, but Nokia made mistakes too, so, that's it.
