worst phone i have ever bought. purchased it on 24th Aug 09 and am on my 4th handset through no fault of my own. it constantly freezes for hours on end and loses data. i have pleaded with orange to let me have a different model as i have taken out a two yr contract on it but they won't even tho someone on their sales team told me that have had more complaints about this model than any other and most shops have taken it off display. i have had 2 replaced handsets in a week but the one i got today will not allow internet access even tho that is part of my contract.

its just too big for a phone y'all...the screen itself is almost big as the iphone. you might use it as a second phone or as a device i might say..
the specs are nice...i dont like the sound of Toshiba though just doesnt sound like a mobile brand...
and whats with the 65k colors? i had 65k colors back when nokia 6600 was out on the market...

major short comings on this phone are the Battery Power & Camera resolution. Without affecting the price if they can pack those two aspects on higher side can make this phone true winner.

> In reply to Win7RTM @ 2009-09-05 00:23 from 4Z%$ - click to readActually, not quite that hilarious, you see, I never said the iphone had the perfect size! It was actually the apple device that started the trend of oversized-impossible-to-handle-with-one-hand touchscreen phones! And truth be told, there IS a perfect sized phone for everybody... You think the TG01 is perfect for you! I'm glad, but in my opinion, it's just to big for everyday use. In fact, if it comes to choosing, you'd go for the TG01, I'd rather go for something like the Touch HD or the Samsung HD or Omnia II... So see, stupidity does not lie in size, but in the fact of not accepting we are all different and have different opinions! ;)

"65k doesn't even bother absolute perfectionists like me"
Means you're either color blind or never actually saw the difference.

They're VERY different at some points.

And that is the very reason I don't buy WinMo devices, and won't buy till they get OLED screens with 24-bit+ color rendering.

> In reply to Rip @ 2009-09-04 22:37 from G2GS - click to readI've hardly a problem with that. There's only at least a 2 inch difference between this phone and the iPhone.

Quite hilarious how everyone thinks the iPhone is the perfect size smartphone, and any phone smaller, wider, taller, or skinner isn't perfect enough; Stupid logic if you ask me. This "monster" phone is fitting in my pockets cause I might pick this over the Pre, soz...

65k doesn't even bother absolute perfectionists like me. Resolution, contrast and the general quality of the display is more of a concern.

480x800 at 65k > 360x640 at 16 million

and if you're that insecure about your phones length, then I guess I know where the world has gone these days...
