Anon89, 18 Feb 2015You mean barring Nvidia. Yes, that is correct. I was thinking of A8Xin iPad air 2 being ahead of tegra k1. But then tegra x1 is coming now, so it is a fierce battle between apple and nvidia at the moment on GPU front. Others are just watching this which is rather unfortunate.

This goes back to what I was saying about HTC listening to their customers. If the rumors for the M9 turns out to be accurate, I'm going to throw money at them.
Anon89, 18 Feb 2015Proof?May be he is talking about on-screen GPU benchmarks. HTC sensibly put FHD display vs Samsung's QHD display. But in that case, HTC has to win those battles comfortably due to huge resolution difference. Else, we can safely say, Qualcomm is way behind Samsung.
SpaceWarrior, 18 Feb 2015I don't think Samsung is 6 months behind Apple. The chip that Apple uses is made by Samsung or... moreCPU - yes, Samsung and apple are almost at same level. GPU - apple is definitely ahead of all manufacturers out there.

Well, at least , we are going to see an epic battle on unveiling a... moreWell, regardless, the S6 will be the one that's most remembered, that's for sure, because it will be the last device to be revealed. I'm more excited for The HTC One M9, if I'm being honest, because HTC is listening to their customers and giving them what they want this time around, and frankly I'm not a fan of AMOLED technology. My S5 suffers from screen burn-in, and I've only had it for two months. And, sure, the S6 is expected to be faster, but The HTC One M9 should be plenty fast for my needs.
until we're holding a Galaxy S6 Edge in our hands we can't verify that the score is real , so why show us the picture of Note edge,
Those benchmarks are identical to the HTC One M9, so I don't see a big improvement due to the Exynos 7420.

The point I was trying to make is that higher megapixels doesn't necessarily mean better pictures. The note 4, in most scenarios, does produce better pictures, no one can deny that, but the software tends to oversharpen the results.

Just check the shootouts between iPhone 6+ and Note 4 (Phone Arena) , the iPhone got the edge in 1 of 6 categories, the Note 4 had superior results even in low light situations. iPhone has eye candy results but they're not natural and details are low compared to most current flagships. Even the Nexus 6 got better results.
Samsung always was the king in power all that matter was the plastic body and ugly touchwiz and if that is improved Sammy rules.
Anonymous, 18 Feb 2015*AHEM*ever heard of a thing called "core architecture"?Have you ever heard of thing called "Irony" ?
I know what the "core architecture " is. I Just mentioned that, to beat the Denver 2 cores, both SD and exynos needs 8 cores. That only shows, how much better Nvidia ,as Chip designer and Manufacturer , is over Sammy and Snappy.
For all guys , going crazy with that eight core Mobile CPU-s, Measuring Performance by Core count is like measure Car HP with it's cylinder count. Porsche's Flat Turbo-Six's are more powerful than GM's old V8.

Anon89, 18 Feb 2015No, designed by Apple, but manufactured by Samsung. Thanks for the correction.
Well, at least , we are going to see an epic battle on unveiling and promoting flagships by Samsung and HTC. It is gonna be fun to watch!!!
Something keeps telling me S6 is still the one that most people will focus on.
Muthu, 18 Feb 2015Samsung is ahead by 1 year in performance? Compared to Qualcomm - Yes. Compared to Apple - No.... moreI don't think Samsung is 6 months behind Apple. The chip that Apple uses is made by Samsung or TLC.
Already a rumor saying that iPhone 6s will be using A9, a chip designed by Samsung. I think Samsung and Apple are equally the best in the field of smarphone markets....
And while Note 4 does have a good camera, S6 could get better...there is a tweet showing how hard Samsung has been trying to emphasize how good its S6 camera would be--find clarity in darkness.

Megapixels only matters to a certain extent, but the higher the megapixels, the more noise there will be. There's a point of diminishing return when it comes to megapixels.
iwolf, 18 Feb 2015What's the point of publishing multi-core rating alone? Without single-core it's misleading to... moreOnly iPhones lol XD Only iOS is incapable of multitasking why do you think it has such high single core scores? Android automatically splits tasks to all the available cores it doesn't matter if it was programmed as a normal app that can run on one core. You can witness this youself by enabling real time CPU data in developer options on any Android phone
