oldest trick in the book.
yeah right, shortage of this. shortage of that,
in order to generate interest.
oldest trick in the book.
As always there will be short of supply for either this or that. Best to wait a while till the dust has settled.
After 3 mths from launch the prices would stabilise.
If only Samsung could just throw some sub-standard "ion strengthened" glass at their devices and still sell millions. I guess being referred to as "cheap" doesn't refer to the actual amount of quality and innovation that goes into devices.
its just a marketing strategy ...limited quantity=i need to have it now
Gorilla glass is made by Corning. Samsung didnt "partner" with them, Samsung is a customer just like Sony, Apple, Moto, etc...
Where exactly are they going to purchase gorilla glass from if not from Corning? Some cheap Chinese knock off?
This is just marketing deception by Samsung to try and generate more interest in a phone with a useless gimmick.
Anonymous, 14 Mar 2015Honestly, Samsung flagship phones have the best screens. I like the Edge series but I'm pretty... moreYeah, Samsung is catering to more of the "don't know - don't care" sector - which is a lot of the iPhone users.
m86k, 14 Mar 2015It's gonna be a tough race to get the Edge version next month.I doubt there'll be a race at all? I see it playing out exactly how the note 4 & note edge played out. The S6 will be in high demand while the S6 edge will be readily available to those who want it.
The S6 edge is just too expensive with little to no benefits beyond it's S6 counterpart. It's hard to justify spending an extra $200-300 based on the 'curve' being the sole difference. Not to mention, the note 4 itself will still be an option.
It's gonna be a tough race to get the Edge version next month.
Honestly, Samsung flagship phones have the best screens. I like the Edge series but I'm pretty sure these phones are not for roughing around.
Sure...
