Too bad that it's missing a secondary video call camera. Wish they'll extend this family (Leo Family?) with a phone including secondary camera.

if this is already crazily powerful, I wonder what will they do to the Athena replacement!? I will be very happy if they can better the RAM, and camera further than this monster (Greedy am I?). Then it will practically be a Netbook!

I hear the battery is only 1230mAh. You have to wonder about battery life in a device with such a big screen and fast processor. I'm also curious about the camera performance, this has often been poor on HTC in the past.

Im planning to buy my first smart touchscreen phone. I have three options: Samsung OMNIA HD, HTC touch HD and this one, the HTC HD2.
So what do you think would be my best choice?

The point about TV out has got nothing to do with actually using it on a TV. You can use it when you are making presentations using powerpoint, onto a bigger screen, this saves lugging the laptop!!!SO a mobile that hasn't got the feature is missing a trick.

But is it reliable? HTC has seemed to struggle with that in the past.

3g? front camera?
do you people really talk like that? i mean, you use 3g, the front camera, and call someone, and see them on your phone while talking to them?
try to use that on the public place..
i mean, thats kind of weird =D

There are lots of great improvements over the HD and I'm not bothered about the lack of keyboard or the battery that might be a bit underpowered for this beast (is the snapgragon more energy efficient than the cpu in the old HD?)...but why did they drop the front camera?! That's a serious downgrade for me :-(

come on folks, hts have done a great thing with this phone... it is the first capactitive screen on htc, first device with flash for camera, has 3.5 headphone jack, 1gb processor. It is a great follow up to the thouch HD, which in my opinion is one of the best devices HTC has ever made, and I've used most of them. I will definately pick one up when they are available. the only drawback I can really see is the stylus. It is almost a neccessity once you get deeper in to actual windows part of the OS. all in all I cant frickin wait.....
