This model called KP105 in the ME area, everybody love it, they call it the 99 Dirhams phone, around 25 USD, great value for money.
I have been using LG mobiles for 2,5 years now with no problems at all, i think the key for there succes is quality, eventhough this model is manifactured in China, most of LG mobiles made in S. Korea and they have strict quality standards there.
Congrats LG, good job.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-10-14 08:25 from ijDg - click to readEverybody knows that Lg and other firms like our money but it is a mutual relation and it is arbitrary.
We pay money and earn products and enjoy them?
Is it an annoying issue for you?
By the way I know that lg is not as good as se nokia or other great manufactures but Lg phones are cheaper.nowadays Lg offers every kind of phone for every kind of taste so I think Lg gradually overtakes nokia and se and other great companies.

If its a matter of chasing numbers, let LG offer the Chocolate for the price of a KP 100.

The Lg kp 100 series is a nice size for a phone and easy to carry around in the pocket.I would like it if LG start producing these with 3.5mm audio jacks even if it only has a radio. These phones have 60% of the functionality of Iphones and BlacBerries at 5% of the price. LG came out of nowhere to overtake SE and Motorola in market share they obviously know what they are doing.

I bought a KP100 before and used it for about a week and decided to sell it. The keypad is not comfortable for texting, kinda hard to press and too small for my fingers. Nokia 1209 is a lot better for texting even if it doesnt have a radio. :-)
