ya Motorola in its own way is a good phone coz in recent times they have come up with very good series of phones which are very sleek & stylish to carry & these phones are very easy to operate too.

Moto hasn't had a good phone since the original Razr!
All newer phones were bland with outdated technology and boring design yet pricey for whatever reason! The quality is GONE!
Motorola should just give up the phone business!

If the rumours about the motorola tao/droid/sholes, or whatever it will be called, are true then it will be one serious bit of kit. The main question is on the price and how quickly they get it out on sale.

My deepest and earnest sympathy with the Motorola Mobile Phone division. It really is a time for reality check. And reality DOES bite back here. In my humble opinion ...
1. The blue backlit keypads MUST be gone. This is important.
2. Demands from all the financial-strata MUST be met.
3. Trends -- such as low budget touch UI -- must NOT be ignored.
4. All relations with the Bachchan family must be severed. After all Abhishek Bachchan with his unhygienic looks and agility of a three-toed sloth has brought bad luck to Motorola. He did the same to Ford-India. It was a shock to cell-enthusiasts when he became Moto's brand ambassador. Why? Because he "sold" himself to the media saying that he was a Vertu user -- a phone that costs more than a human kidney. This youth icon is actually a chariot of utmost bad luck.
Conclusion : Motorola is a company that provides precision electronics to the Chevrolet Corvette. It speaks about the "ability" of Moto as a company.
But ability and/or quality is not the only key to success. And these dishonest and desperate days, it's probably the least important one.

Being a fumbling company before doesn't mean it will flunk again. We should reserve judgment until the phones are actually in the market, tested by reviewers, used by customers and compared with other brands.

The problem with Motorola is they want to compete on the high end. Example they make a normal T9 handset with the same price as an LG or Samsung touch screen phone, and expect people to buy it. Their new Android phone is fine, but it is bulky and heavy, and they are competing against 22 manufacturers that can make exactly the same device.
They should concentrate on the budget market, and make phones to compete with the Samsung Corbys and the like. The problem is the competition is harsh and Motorola cannot learn from their mistakes and quickly rectify it.

Motorola is finally getting back in action. In two years or so, it will become one of the top manufacturers at this rate.
