I work for Sprint in the USA and this is a very good device, with very low reports of malfuntions and a low ammount of returns. I think Palm OS is very good, extremely good user friendly interface and it is not complicated as some other devices in the market. in terms of specs, of course there are much better devices with bigger proccesors, more memory and cameras up to 12 Mpx, but think about this: if you use the phone for text messages, internet, email and social networks this will be a great choise. one more thing, if you are a "multitasker" you will love this phone. Of course i have my heart on Blackberry and i'm very happy with my Curve 8900.

If you're an existing O2-UK user, try the upgrade service on the O2 website. You may be able to get a Palm Pre as a free upgrade on your current tarrif. However, if you're planning to surf a lot on GSM, rather than use WiFi, check you're happy with your current data allowance first.

Well since we don't get phones like these in Brazil, I just envy every one in Europe. And if it ever gets here 2 years or more outdated since it'll probably only be available like in 2012 it will cost around R$4000, which is around 1000 pounds or 1300 euro

Had a look and feel of it at the local O2 store. Nice to look at and seems a bit like iPhone at first. Didn't spend too much time on it. Was told that it doeasn't suppport bluetooth file transfer, just like iPhone, is this true? Can't believe they suppose to be smart phones, yet lack basics.

At these prices it just ainīt gonna happen for me. Iīve read too many bad reviews on the Pre and the specī just isnīt quite there for me. To this end Iīm gonna sit tight and wait for an Android device even I have to shell out for an unlocked version on eBay. Sorry Palm. You blew it again. Iīll have a look at the GSM + WiFi Pixi or the Pre v2.
