Samsung I5700 Galaxy Spica gets official, packs 800Mhz CPU - read the full textSamsung I5700 Galaxy Spica, or Galaxy Lite, if you prefer, is official as it gets. This is in no way faster than the Liquid...
The Liquid is using an ARMv7 (Scorpion, similair to Cortex-A8) core, while this is using an ARMv6 (ARM1176) core, ARMv7 is two to three times faster per clock than ARMv6.

Consider this as comparing a 3GHz Pentium 4 to a 2.8GHz Core i7. (The Spica being the Pentium 4 and the Liquid the i7, obviously)

I need to point out that the 800Mhz processor Samsung uses is likely an ARM11 based one, as opposed to the Snapdragon which is Cortex A8 based. While the Snapdragon has a slower clock speed it will still likely end up fast. For those who don't understand how this is, think of the Pentium 4 vs the Core 2: Clock for clock the Core 2 beats out the Pentium 4.
