mas39, 29 Apr 2015There's been no proof at all that 615 has been overheating, please provide proof before you ma... moreYu Yureka,HTC Desire 820,HTC Desire 826,Galaxy A7.All of these devices show excessive heating.EXCESSIVE!
The common thing between them = SD 615.
Go check some reviews of these devices if you dont believe.Especially Desire 820 and Yu Yureka touched 50°C while gaming and showed some heating while performing daily tasks.Needless to say the first generation of 64bit Snapdragon processors are utter crap.
There's been no proof at all that 615 has been overheating, please provide proof before you make these kind of statements.
But, will Apple sue them?
Wrt Sd 615, I feel Asus would be better of using Sd 801, particularly due to battery life issue.
To think they actually invited guest from Intel & speak about their involvement in ZenFone 2 for the Singapore launch. irony.
3ngin33r, 29 Apr 2015Isn't 615 the infamous younger brother of 810?Yeah the infamous heating younger bro of SD 810.But Asus might use the 2nd gen 615 chip which may come with slight improvement over 1st gen.
