This update is for all 32A HTC Magic ( most Google branded ones will not take it ), then for the language you can find MoreLocale.apk and select your language from this great little application!

HTC will not release the SENSE UI for the HTC Magic or G1 in European Staates. Its just Brazil and Taiwan luckors. This information is from the European HTC Support "Caroline".
Im realy dissapointed about this info.

A little bit of education for you :)

"It turns out that some people are more equal than others after all."
Was this some type of irony?

all that marketing stuff causes all this, look at the 5800.. no widgets or kinetic scrolling while lower end phones have them.
but the g1 might unofficially get it
keep checking the modding scene

Why would G1 users be a lost cause for Android 2.0?? Possible RAM space but there are more G1's sold than any other Android phone (it being first out of the gate). Android 2.0 will not be as physical demanding from the hardware as Sense UI is. That being said, I think it would be a high priority for 2.0 to come to the G1/Dream.
Oh, and if CPU is a factor, Verizon's Droid will come packed with it and it's CPU is maxed out at 550MHz... only 25MHz higher than current Android devices. =)

I think original Galaxy, Magic and Hero will also get Eclair (2.0), maybe without some features, because Google cannot afford to be inferior to Apple in this way - even the original iPhone with much worse hardware than 3GS(ARM11 - 412Mhz vs cortex-A8 - 600Mhz, 128MB RAM vs 256MB RAM) can run Iphone OS 3.0. G1 is a different story as it has not have enough ROM.
