Hasn't this thing come out yet, reading all the comments of people with problems is good for a laugh,, like when the N96 was released then the 5800 and then the N97.

...bwahhahha,the n00b thinks they're catalogs.

He's like you as soon as the N900 was announced, dumped Symbian in a flash, no wonder the N97 fizzled out like a damp firework in a urinal at a beer drinking contest.

Resistance is futile!

AT&T has the iPhone.

Nokia's releasing the N900 on T-mobile is like throwing a goldfish into a tank with two, hungry white pointer sharks.

We can only wait and see how the motorola droid would do after it's released. It will definitely have a hard time knocking off the iphone. Iphone has already established itself quite strongly. The iphone is due for another firmware update in a couple of months which will excite both iphone users and non users. Then after several months, the next generation iphone will start to be the talk of the town again. The iphone is way ahead of the game. Others can only try, but for now, iphone is the bestselling smartphone in its category. What all of these other phones are doing is actually pushing Apple further to even come up with a more advanced next gen iphone. So I'm actually loving the competition :) I can't wait for the next gen iphone :)

> In reply to [deleted post]Lol. What do you mean nokia vs the world? Nokia has been losing to Apple in the past 3 yrs. Android, bb, winmo and symbian are all after the iphone, and could care less for nokia's high end devices. Nokia is only competitive in the low end devices, not in the smartphone arena. Where have you been? Lol. What you have is called "make believe".

> In reply to Deep space bar @ 2009-10-30 07:08 from kJqf - click to readYes, unlocked iPhone 3G and 3Gs are expensive ($600+ USD) but the 2G iPhone could be bought from apple.com and JB+Unlocked for $299. I do take your point on the price and what you get in the phone.

But the truest thing you will ever read on here is features are not the end all to the success of a phone. It is quite obvious. The best selling phones for 2009 are not the 5/8/12MP phones with all the bells and whistles. The best selling phones are low to midrange phones because money does not grow on trees and everyone does not value a phone that much.

Which is why to go back on point Motorola will need some low and midrange phones to have a worthy portfolio. The Cliq and Droid are a good start but I would like to see them with a competitor to the Cookie.
