I really like how google's updates for Droid actually change the interface of the OS
I think that's how all OS serious updates should be like
And i hope Nokia and it's symbian foundation learns from google and the ROM updates

And buy the way everything beats the iphone apple is just paying off people to still say good things about it's phone
But the serious OS war will be Droid And Maemo since they are open source OSs
But Google has the upper hand cause they just made the platform and it's on a whole bunch of smartphones now and nokia just has one

To be honest, this device reminds me on Texas Instruments calculators 4 10 years a go, but it's nice from the rest Motorola and beats iphone 4 sure.
I think the battery power on this device sucks big time!

Although a lot of people like to say that this will take on the iPhone, the iPhone has already carved out it's niche.

It's more likely to affect phones like the upcoming N900 and the Palm Pre/Pixi as they fight it out for Apple's and RIM's crumbs.

Any chance that Nokia will build much smartphone market share in the US has just been dashed.

I have no doubt that they may have a GSM version of the Droid but y are these pictures with a black tape where the Verizon logo goes and a different cover of the battery where the Verizon logo is aswell?

What do all of you Moto haters have to say now?

Oh...I get it. Now you will say the phone is "ugly" Face it, this beats the iPhone in terms of functionality AND looks. All metal & glass.

Bravo Moto. The new day has came. Can't wait more surprise. 3.7" is enough to beat iPhone 3GS. Hopefully moto embedded a lot of features. What i feel sorry is video rec@only 24fps. I am waiting phone which has speaker as E398, camera as zn5, easy to use, video as handycam.

> In reply to jjsoviet @ 2009-10-29 14:28 from v0qu - click to readI would tune it out jjsoviet. Some people are going to find it unattractive for good reasons, and some are going to find it unattractive because it is a Motorola.

What you should ask them to do is name 3 attractive full touch, slide out QWERTY phones and then have a discussion.

Then we will have the jokers that claim the phone is junk because it does not have the Hubble telescope and a Star Trek replicator. Yet they don't go into the N97 mini and say Ew on the specs.

The video doesn't work, it says it is private and cannot be viewed without some kind of "friend's request"

After the relatively "dark" year this year, (where I only bought 3 Moto phones, vs. 17 last year), seems like Moto is getting what I want.

But before getting the Droid, I really really want the Dext/Cliq/MB220. Hope it will be available in HK.

Then if I can wait, I'll get the Droid some 6 months later, when the prices come down.

> In reply to Ew Moto @ 2009-10-29 14:21 from P@cf - click to readI can honestly tell you motorola's new design will help their sales go up ,since the Razr design is to played out
But this phone is really professional looking and it looks way better then HTC's designs with that nasty chin and track ball which is unagruably useless
