Ha penned this weekend on my lollipop Tab S 10.5 but just telling the toggles section to go back to defaults solved it: no need to reboot
I had this same problem when I updated my Galaxy Tab S to Lollipop. The Wi-fi Hotspot toggle also disappered. All you have to do is reset the Quick Toggles in the Notification Panel menu.

what a coincidence it is. my data toggle disappeared today in the morning. i was about to google it. and alas i see this article. Thanks Gsmarena
Its a theme engine issue, if you are on the stock theme you will never face this issue and theres no need to reset the phone just revert back to stock theme and restart the phone.
Today i restart my S6, after Mobile Data option was hidden from Quick Settings. Waiting for solution... :/
Hello! I'm from Romania and I experienced too this issue. After a reset to factory defaults the issue was gone. But I think that it will appear again......probably.
Check the following post on XDA Developers. Someone from Romania found a temporary fix for this issue.
"[ISSUE][NOT FIXED] Missing Toggle In Quick Setting Panel"
Anyway Samsung is aware of this software issue and is working on a fix that will probably come with Lollipop 5.1.1.
Have a nice day!
Its really annoying from a flagship product. I paid a hefty amount too. In india i paid 65000 rupees for 64 GB S6edge and now it is costing 54000. This is also annoying too.
Sammy, 15 Jun 2015It is truly amazing bunch of lies people report specially Apple lovers! I had this phone for ... moreIt is missing. The owners of S6 in my countries has been complaining on Samsung's FB page last week. Maybe your update is not the latest?
