the looks more than sucks
i liked the old colour of keypad..and the trackball looked nice and when you get the hang of it..that was addictive
wifi,3g,edge should be must..i have 8120 and it has all the 3
camera quality should be improved and the sterio speaker quality ..
as for software..can easily be upgraded online so is not much of an issue
overall ..BB ROCKS ..!! better than crappy Nokia

This handset would be a massive seller, as blackberrys are flying off the shelf right now, some thing that isnt as big as the curve series, but still has the features!

Nice update for the Pearl. The 9100 looks to make up on many of the shortcomings that the Pearl now faces as an outdated phone. Better build, better camera, updated BB OS, less flimsy keys and updated styling.
Also nice to see the "trackball" being abandoned. As a retailer of the 8100, I hear almost universal complaints about trackball issues.

Wooo-Hooo! An update to my favourite Blackberry. I loved the 8110. Although I have to use the Bold 9000 as a work phone, I much prefer the smaller Pearl!!
