I can not speak about all Mediatek SOC but in a battle between MT6752 and Qulacomm 615, MT6752 wins in every category: performance (cpu, gpu), power consumption, heat dissipation! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlgUR9icVxo / https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K-IeD7GJTY - here you can see the CPU behavior (core use under low load)
M.Umar, 23 Jun 2015Multicore is even better than Galaxy S6.Yeah ur right but normally in day to day usage single core performance matters more than multicore performance.
FG, 23 Jun 2015I've always wanted to own a Meizu phone but dear jesus christ because of Mediatek chipsets i s... moreThey use exynos too for a couple of devices.. But i guess even that won't be good enough for you?
Typical Mediatek. Good multicore score, bad single core score (Exynos 7420 score 50% more) and rubbish GPU.
indrockz, 23 Jun 2015Epic fail due to the poor old GPU... Mali would have been better choice.Mediatek is using low-end Mali GPUs as well. So there wouldn't be any difference.
Epic fail due to the poor old GPU... Mali would have been better choice.
Look at the single core performance. It's a kind of a joke, i mean, even the iPhone 5 has the same score. Everyone are blind because of these high numbers. The most imprtant things are others in a phone..
FG, 23 Jun 2015I've always wanted to own a Meizu phone but dear jesus christ because of Mediatek chipsets i s... moreDo you game a lot? Mediateks such for gaming but performance wise they're second only to Exynos 7420
I've always wanted to own a Meizu phone but dear jesus christ because of Mediatek chipsets i shall never buy one..
Mediatek surely know their sh*t. When it comes to raw power they are second to none.
Why meizu...why ...why a mediatek ....epic fail...power vr g6200gpu...games would lag like hell!!!
Rather than making spec bumbs they should refine the current hardware. what am I even saying this is Android.
