Anon89, 26 Jun 2015Unlikely since it's allegedly being manufactured by Samsung.it is not possible.maybe they are using a custom set as sammy does with their latest exynos but sammy doesnt manufacture socs for sd makes no sense....probable sammy is the customer in charge of testing the chip.

thenerd, 26 Jun 2015http://www.sammobile.com/2015/06/26/samsung-said-to-be-manufacturing-qualcomms-snapdragon-820-... moreThanks for the link, but I think you should've sent that to GSMArena instead so that they could post an article about it.
you can try to fry your balls.. and if it hatches dragons you will be the "Father of Dragons" destined to conquer Weteros
with 8gb ram, two 200gb sdxc and a nice monitor able to replace a laptop bye bye microsoft?
LG's G4 Pro is rumored to come with SD820. Anyways, part of the heat of SD810 seems to be the Cortex A-57 cores, as Exynos 7420 also has trouble to run at high speeds for more than just a tiny bit. The other part likely for a big part is caused by TSMC's rather crappy 20nm process, which just isn't doing well for these high end type of chips.
If Qualcomm indeed is moving over to 14/16nm and managed to get a rather efficient core again, just like their Krait core was, SD820 may well be a very interesting mobile SoC for the year to come.
Anonymous, 26 Jun 20153GHZ...!! LOL They must test it to avoid fire in the future phones The processor can reach 3ghz, I don't belive they will be clocked at this frequency.
LLL, 26 Jun 2015Sent to A customer? Wonder who the customer is. Anyway, it gotta be good, no, awesome for the ... moreMost likely Samsung. I think they would be trying to earn them as a customer again, as they were their biggest buyer.
