Liquid metal appears to be a trademark name for a specific amorphous metal alloy. Liquid metal is to amorphous alloys as Kleenex is to facial tissue. Or, maybe more on task, as Ski-Do is to motorized snow sled.
liquid metal, very nice

You can also read as to what liquid metal is essentially,
also liquid metal is something quite widely used, it's not just Apple and Swatch, you might even own something made with that process, possibly on a bike or something and not know it...

The device looks definitely solid from the images and the design is also unique, hope to see some good progress in sales

I think the term liquid metal refers to amorphous metal; amorphous metals being different from regual metals in that they lack long-range crystallinity. It does affect material properties as mentioned and it's inclusion in sporting goods is most prominent in golf clubs (from what I've noticed anyway). So it's a bit of a combination of innovation and marketing. The innovation being the cool materials. The marketing being the confusing name. Though it's kind of a confusing concept.
Or I'm completely wrong.
I have a Doogee Turbo 2014 and I think it's a great phone for the price. Even outperforms phones of a much higher price. In South Africa I paid $168.00. Definitely a manufacturer to watch.
Doogee have to put better quality screen and better construction material for this phone, i already have some dogee phones and it a shame look like a toy phone than a smartphone!
what the hell is 'liquid metal'? is that metal that stays in liquid form at room temperature? nope, just seems like a marketing gimmick
Doogee.....sounds like something from the Gummi Bears ;D
Big innovation.
Those corner edges look sharp. It hurts my palm just by looking at it.
