Read the latest World sales of smartphones. It's my basis.
TheNeighbor, 11 Aug 2015That's why Lumia, Xperia, S6, and HTC sales don't even make it 5% total WORLD sales. They trie... moreoh so you want to talk about the major smartphone brands? well right now the only stable smartphone brands are either apple or samsung. apple never used removeable batteries, samsung only uses removeable batteries in its note series. or previous s models. dont you think if it was so damn freakin important it would have been available to all major flagship phones? companies dont wanna close down their factories dont they?
n you guys act like you know everything about smartphone manufacturing? common man. you dont like the phone, dont buy it man, move on. no need to be freakin rude over here.
Anonymous, 11 Aug 2015You are disrespecting yourself as a customer, buying those fashion toys, knowing well they are... morewell m not the only one who think that removeable battery is something to get angry at. my brother, how many phones available today come with removeable battery? and how many people today use a smartphone for more than a year? the battery used in smartphones is more than enough to give u atleast a solid one year. every flagship phone's sucessor comes after a year.
and if removeable battery was a freakin big deal then iphones would have been a flop.
wait for next Galaxy Note .. Samsung will definitely bring "force touch" but in a cheaper way with higher price :-)
I started laughing when I saw some people get frustrated with their fingerprint scanner in Galaxy ... Just look around you- you may find those funny guys with their High End Device and 0 usability .............. shame on Samsung.
And my wife's Galaxy A5 - starts complaining no SIM .. I asked her not to take anything from Samsung. Total waste of money..................
Anonymous, 11 Aug 20154100 i nothing wwhen it's non-removable. In less than 2 years, it will already not have enough... moreYes, if the normal battery life takes about 300 cycles (that's fully charging from drained battery) to be efficient enough for use, then if you need to charge twice daily for power usage, you end up 150 days till it's considered as inefficient battery life. That's like only 5 months! The "I-don't-know-I-don't-care" bling-bling crowd will not consider this - they want a toy, not a tool.
Galaxy Note 4 FTW!
Anonymous, 10 Aug 2015Because samsung is loosing ground to apple they seem to be trying to adopt the same business m... moreActually they are losing groun to chinese brands with their applelike policies. The sheeple who would buy an iPhone already have one or are planning to buy one. They won't buy a Samsung phone. And now normal people won't buy a Samsung phone either, so Apple sales are as always, Samsung's sales are dropping and chinese phones are on the rise. It makes perfect sense, but unfortunately when it comes to smartphone companies, CEOs are totally insane and retarded people with no common sense left.
Bunyip22, 11 Aug 2015I agree, if it has a 4100 mAh battery and micro SD card i would probably get it.4100 i nothing wwhen it's non-removable. In less than 2 years, it will already not have enough juice for a day (Actually a fresh 4100mah battery still won't have enough juice for a real one day of whatever usage. That's another reason removable batteries are important - you can use an extended battery, currently with up to 10 000 mah).
Anonymous, 11 Aug 2015man, you need to calm down. just chill the hell out. the thing is that there is no such thing ... moreYou are disrespecting yourself as a customer, buying those fashion toys, knowing well they are made with so many compromises on purpose. And the compromises are there exactly because people like you think it's 'normal".
Bunyip22, 11 Aug 2015Yep, Samsung sales of the S6 have been poor, i don't think its a coincidence that there is no ... moreIt won't be dual sim if you you a sim card. Just another of those amazingly ridiculous phones not worth buying
TheNeighbor, 11 Aug 2015That's why Lumia, Xperia, S6, and HTC sales don't even make it 5% total WORLD sales. They trie... moreYep, Samsung sales of the S6 have been poor, i don't think its a coincidence that there is no external storage or removable battery... yet the not 4 sales have been strong (with external battery and sd card).
I would put money on the Note 5 sales being worse than the Note 4.
The dual sim note 5 is rumored to have external storage which seems to indicate how worried Samsung is about this.
Anonymous, 11 Aug 2015man, you need to calm down. just chill the hell out. the thing is that there is no such thing ... moreThat's why Lumia, Xperia, S6, and HTC sales don't even make it 5% total WORLD sales. They tried doing it like iPhones - they aren't making waves with those. S6 just got a $200 permanent discount because it isn't selling as Samsung thought. Meantime, the over simplified iPhone, with its simplified operation for the simple masses are selling because it's target market as the most popular phone is for the "I-don't-know-I-don't-care" crowd. There are lots of them out there.
Anonymous, 10 Aug 2015New slogan of shamesung: Ancient is now (Formerly Next was now) Looks like crap, no sd slot,... moreman, you need to calm down. just chill the hell out. the thing is that there is no such thing as a perfect phone. you cannot have all the features in one phone. they do have to regulate the features in order to get the product right. not every body is concerned about the non removeable battery. if half of the world hated the non removeable battery then there would be no xperias, lumias, samsung s series. i mean common. every phone is doin it. just appriciate the good things. if it really matters to you, then its cool, dont buy it. there is no need for disrespect
even packaging box similar like apple.... i thought they still using wooden colour
Bunyip22, 11 Aug 2015Looks really nice but i wont be downgrading from my Note 4.
For me the phone and camera per... moreThe glass back is useless! It's slippery, fragile, another side to clean, and most likely you really need a case, another glass (!?) or sticker skin.
Yes, an easy removable bumper could be enough. I also question the metal sides as they dent on impact. If rather think rubberised sides would be the more logical solution. But nooooo, the bling-bling hipster crowd want something shiny and metal!
Bunyip22, 11 Aug 2015I agree, if it has a 4100 mAh battery and micro SD card i would probably get it.Yeah, imagine that 4100mAh battery being changeable as well. It'd be wonderful!
That glass back is curving to 2 of its edges? They actually spent money to curve that? It could have been easily a textured rubberised removable back.
For the less informed:
From research, batteries degrade over time. It's a weak link to the whole system. Percentage indicators will not show that, but you can observe that from the first week of user on a single full charge, to 3 months later. Like I could get 12 hours of continuous use at first, after a year, only half of that time. It loses the ability to hold a charge. Cycling batteries slows that down, and you can change the set easily.
This picture looks fake. I have seen different angle of the same pictures. Actually, there are many pictures from the exact same guy. They said it was taken in Canadian Bell store. The fact that there is iphone in the picture make people think it is Apple store. Now, why is Samsung in Apple store? The boxes is taken from completely different source from Facebook. Remember the leaked picture of Xperia C5 Ultra in Brazil, that turns out to be fake.
