Meet Sony Ericsson Robyn, the cute mini version of XPERIA X10 - read the full textWe just got tipped with a new shot of an unannounced Sony Ericsson phone. We don’t mind getting images of unknown phones and actually we love taking quick peeks at what's cooking right now. Especially when it's phones as cute as the Robyn - an Android smartphone that rightfully deserves a name...

hope it also has capacitive display, wi-fi connectivity, at least 5mp cam, a 3.5mm jack and it might be SE best seller.

By Feb or March exchange rate might rise to 85 or 86 (I hope not) while mostly average income is under Rs. 10,000 which is not sufficient at all to run through out a month just for basic living.

It's not fake. Those are the stripped version phones manufactures intended to make for asia market with consideration of their average household income. X10 can easily top $800 USD how the hell someone in india or gombodia willing to buy? At the same time, manufactures don't want to lose that group of customers therefore they make things like that. Iphone, Nokia, Sony, Samsung, LG, they all have their stripped phones. It's not fake and it's just like when u go Honda you have DX, LX, and EX models. People calling it fake are just plain stupid and racist.

> In reply to wilito @ 2010-01-06 21:19 from 47F{ - click to readI thought same at first as I know how good China can copy something into mini sizes. I am using real-like copy of BlackBerry Storm 2 with a smaller size.

So I look closly for the usual China-mobile signs and so far I am failed to find any. I can say this is a real deal, and unlike some comments posted here about following a trail of Nokia by introducing Minis. I think its not bad I mean most of us wanted X10's look with more pocket friendly device. I am one of them, it is all up to details now about what mini will be carrying inside this body. I will be thrill to see a keyboard as well. Only a few Andriod are out with the keyboard, Sony Ericsson should take a jump here and bring a good Andriod with Keyboard to fill that gap. Lot of users are willing to use Andriod with physical keyboard (I am not one of those) However I will try Andriod because of one of these looks.

I want to see Google got beaten into his own game against X10 (and this). I see more potional in X10 than Nexes One to be honest. And please do not start with FM again, it would be good to have one but life is lot more than that. Besides I am sure it will come with FM.

I think its fake, we haven't yet seen X10 and here is a X10 mini. Out of production line I guess.
It looks more like somebody applied the N97 theory to X10.

> In reply to sohana @ 2010-01-06 19:53 from Pxxd - click to readI don't like to repeat something that has been repeated and clear thousands of times. But we all know how Sony Ericsson's screen stands out in competition even with limited colors, so I don't mind if we will get a good screen with enough colors that we can enjoy easily.
