Android is operating system, iPhone is phone... nice one :D definately crazy yes.
No thank you. I still have one year to go with this awful iphone 6...absolutely painful :( can't wait to go back to proper phones...can't wait for next year's edge 2!!
Anonymous, 24 Aug 2015I made huge mistake switching from iOS to android (note 4) - reading comments and review. But ... moreWell, in the meantime, the last 3 of my mates who have iphones (2 i5s and 1 i6) will switch to Android, because they can't suffer the restrictiveness and poor battery and camera on their phones...in all fairness, if you spent more than 4 years on an iphone, whichever one it is (they are all the same), you either lack personality or must be bored to tears...i know i was after 2 years on a 4s...
Apple is superb, but once the love charm wears out, you realize how outdated Apple tech and specs are...
Things like: NFC, IR blaster, fingerprint scanner, mobile payments were sensational 3 years ago, but now thats old...
The crazy thing, is that my Galaxy s4 is still better than iPhone6 :D So basically you either upgrade every year with Apple, or every 2-3 with Android. And when you think about it, that Android of 2013 is better, than iphone in 2015, just crazy :D
I made huge mistake switching from iOS to android (note 4) - reading comments and review. But I found Android is not good enough for my every day usages. Specs and features looks good in review sites & paper, but in reality I did not like to use it. So trying hard to get good selling price and getting ready for iPhone 6s.
People who sees high specs android is future proof that's actually bullsh**t . It was hard to believe that Android alone took 80% of RAM . Then I checked my friends phone which got 1GB(moto e), 3GB (xperia z2) - everywhere the same thing. Android takes 70- 80% of RAM irrespective of RAM's size. Galley takes time to load pic's thumb nail irrespective of cores.
Unless android become mature and no-child-like I will stick to iPhone. But I have not tried high end Windows phone. But don't want to experiment with my money. I know I can happily use iPhone to 2-3 years. I used iPhone 5 for 2 and half year without a single issue.
AnonD-1825, 22 Aug 2015"As usual tactics - Just put 'S' alphabet to iPhones & only small upgrade - can creat... moreactually iphone users usually upgrade aruond 3 years becuase iphones last longer then androids who upgrade phones every year because performance starts to die after 8 months. tired of waiting for updates and nothing ever happens.
Iphones generally are the same, of course iphone users shouldn't be updating every year.
apple has implemented one game breaking change to their phone every year, since the iphone 4.
from the 4 to the 4s, it released a phone with a cutting edge photo quality.
from the 4s to the 5, their was no difference with exception of a bigger screen, but the iphone 5 are for iphone 4 users or 3gs.
from the 5 to the 5s, apple released a phone that have finger print recognition.
this was something no other phone had at this point, which was your own finger print to unlock the phone
from the 5s to the 6, apple introduced apple pay, something no phone had also, which was sticking your phone towards the reciever and making payments. Although one can argue about google wallet, which no one ever heard of , until apple pay came out, then the uproar of android fan boys, (google wallet is only available to like 2 % of all android phones btw do some research).
6s and 6s+ is rumored to have force touch, something no phone currently have right now, it will also come in a body that no other phone has used for their phones, and total improved upgrades internally, in camera processor and more ram(not that it really needs it)
so no... to android fanboys.... yes, the iphones are quite similar in design ( 5 to 5s, 6 to 6s), but each variation has one different upgrade.
right now I have the 6, I don't plan to upgrade until the 7s.
Will stick with the Samsung Sunburst until the smartphone market shakes out.
AnonD-306086, 22 Aug 2015Yeah, New number is for looks and adding the S is mostly specs. I have a 5, 5s and a 6. I'm no... moreYou really have gotten the Apple bug each memory increase adds $100
Your with into Apple or not, but you don't need to carry every song you have bought or every picture on your phone, and all other platforms use memory card class 10 which perform just the "same" as internal SD card
With the iPhone6 being larger display iPhone5 your yearly purchases offer miniscule improvement that you wouldn't even notice same 8Mp camera, same 1Gb ram, same Duwl Core.
I don't see the necessity in changing you phone ever year for the tweaked same phone
Anonymous, 23 Aug 2015Tut tut... Taking pre-orders for a product on the anniversary of 9/11.Yeah, noticed that too. Just a way to get attention I guess. Don't bother it.

The way I see it, there's no end to craving for more RAM, higher processing speed & more storage.
But most users are not using the basic productivity apps which require the less processing power.
Playing games, watching HD movies & probably browsing the net 24/7 are the main activities users are using their smartphones.
on 11th of sept 6s is coming in india or smeother country
Cenas, 22 Aug 2015Especially if you buy it from Apple.Samsung is asking same price, so no doesn't matter who sells it, flash memory is very expensive which samsung very well proved with S6/S6 edge

256gb model would cost fortune, flash memory is very expensive
harlekkin, 22 Aug 2015The S versions have always received significant upgrades. Better cameras, faster clock speeds,... moreYeah, New number is for looks and adding the S is mostly specs. I have a 5, 5s and a 6. I'm not upgrading this year. I didn't even like the 6 design. I'll probably wait until the 7. I really hope Apple soon uses 256GB, 128GB isn't enough anymore. I know Android can add memory cards on some phones but outs still not as great as having a large internal memory.
