atp, 12 Feb 2010but if i put this card to phone i will lost 3g connection from my actual sim card I agree if you put this in your sim card holder then how are you going to get a connection to your 3g operater??
but this acts as wifi router not reciever
its cool .but it could be great if this sim act as wifi device and mobies who dont have wifi could able to surf internet through wifi THINK
globe phil must grab this sim, nice!
or even better
processor sim card
wow
this is the next big thing
you can have what ever processor you want.
i read i'm not sure if that is intel or amd but that processor is about 2x2mm big. or even graphic. processor like a booster.
there is so many possibilities
the next big thing is to create memory sim card, no need for memory cards any more
akon, 12 Feb 2010...And how are they going to connect the data transfer channels and procedures between the int... moremy friend if you have 3g via sim cards going beyond 10mbps they can surely get this going... what you're talking about is age old technology, protocols have evolved, and developed that's one of the reasons we have 3g networks today, we also have wifi and Bluetooth edr on the same hardware using the very same 802.11b/g protocol, and yes 802.11b/g is a protocol... what you say about a phonebooks and messages on a sim card you talk about memory dont you get microSD cards in GBs??
and also it is the very SIM card that is the connection between your phone and the 3g service. from what it seems you ain't no engineer buddy....
Wow..! These new thing scientist are coming up with... It's just amazing! In 10 years the technology will be so advance and amazing... Can't wait xD
i read that this little thing have build in software for routing, wow
nice thing........
CooL
holy crap
this is new technology, yes
wow
it's like slave
hope this becomes standard for sim cards
excellent...hope available in indonesia.
...And how are they going to connect the data transfer channels and procedures between the internal wifi server of the SIM and the 3G connection of the phone ? AFAIK, the only link a sim card has with the phone is via an awfully slow serial connection, that is ok for phonebook and messages but not fast enough for data and error detection and correction. From an engineer point of view, this cannot be done without upgrading the communication stack between SIM and phone. Comments are welcome.
its d one i was wating for
I'm happy too, got HD2
SIM 1
The idea is good, but here in the uk if the networks suspects that you are tethering they will either reduce or block your data plan, im guessing that this will only be available for mobile broadband dongles.
this is awesome man but coming to India will take more than a decade...
but if i put this card to phone i will lost 3g connection from my actual sim card
