Now that's a very helpful feature there. It will come in handy when one is lookin to buy a new phone. One can always see the other choices he/she has by lookin at the related phones.
Kudos to the GSMArena team.

Excellent job, GSM Arena :) Please, keep up the good work! You are my professional adviser in terms of communication devices.
Good Luck, and don't mind the people who always have something negative to say, no matter what you do :)
All the best.

> In reply to MRK @ 2010-03-10 21:32 from PIdZ - click to readbut then when I looked at Moto's phones, why did N97 pop out?

Is it bcoz N97 is really the best around? Or did the almighty brand paid (in various methods) the site to promote its items?

I certainly don't know the answer, I do know in the business world, there is no free lunch.

just finished looking through the products I'm interested in and was suprised how few "related" products our from different brands. Are we that brand loyal as a group? very suprising. I feel obliged to purchase and try other brands products. Evidently many do not feel this way.

Why did they choose link for Nokia N97 as the example.

Simple. Market Leader. Flagship. Period.

> In reply to Blastalot @ 2010-03-10 12:54 from n%nF - click to readExactly,it takes less searching because it narrows it down to a minimum choice, but then, people will only look at these few choices and not look at more phones, meaning it limits their choices, pretty simple.Need a definition for choice ?
Nevermind, again,i say i'm not against,i just say it's not one of those great leaps forward is all.
I much prefer typing what specs i want and such like price range or whatnot, then get a choice of whatever is there

> In reply to Coolworld @ 2010-03-10 10:11 from n{k4 - click to readOf course that doesn't take a genious. That was a very weird example by the way, comparing the N97 with the N97 mini. It saves lots of searching and narrowing your possibilities down to the most interesting phones in a mouseclick. How's that for a new feature?

Its an interesting concept...helps people who don't really have a clear idea on what they're looking for.
Also helps the rest of us see what other people think are related phones.
Of course the only flipside is that because its user-generated, phones that ppl have no idea about are pushed to the side.

Makes perfect sense, but then, really, who does this serves, people who want to know if their comparing patterns match the trend of fellow browsers ? It may limit people's choice if you think about it,besides,it takes no genius to figure out if N97 should be compared with N97 mini before buying one of the two.
So,i'm not against, but not overwhelmed either.
