even if it's really launched, wonder how soon it will be available in my country
Anonymous, 18 Nov 2015yeah. Paid $1500 to be introduced with a pencil. lolThe iPhone 6s and iPad pro launch is not Apple WWDC. WWDC is a developer conference where they show off the new version of their OS.It cost's 1000$+ because it's a conference where they have workshops and give a headstart to developers. The price is to pay the volunteers, lecturers and to make sure only those serious about it attends it.
Here Xiaomi is charging 30$ for a product briefing. Man reading some of these comments, most of you guys on this site are really ignorant.
Most of the Xiaomi's mobile are1GB-2GB Ram only including small chipset they stick to the olden phone design.
You have to compate with Huawei,Asus and ZTE
applefanboy, 17 Nov 2015This isnt the same. WWDC happens once a year. This is a product briefing/announcement and happ... moreyeah. Paid $1500 to be introduced with a pencil. lol
hope they release mi5
AnonD-221755, 17 Nov 2015What's with all these 'when will it be in India'? Every time there is xiaomi news there are li... moreI know it's beyond annoying and stupid, and it's not just Xiaomi phones either.
It may be a bit too early for the Redmi Note 2 Pro, But I have my fingers crossed. I'm eager to see what they are doing here. I know the phone is to challenge the Meizu Pro series, but I'm confused as to what Xiaomi's goal is in total. They have the Mi series, They have the Redmi Series, and all variations of A's and C's and I's Enhanced/Pro editions, and Its starting to get confusing.
AnonD-430664, 17 Nov 2015Yea it sounds really silly to ask about the launch of a product which is a mere speculation a... moreWith that logic there would actually be no need to ask the question in the first place since you already know it will be made available.
In any case, if you can get your hands on a xiaomi device in Europe then it should pose no obstacle to obtain one in India.
Pay to attend a product launch? Talk about Android fanboism.

But then again keep in mind that only two countries that are gonna get xiaomi phones officially are China followed by india
Martin, 17 Nov 2015Yep, but who the hell cares about a Xiaomi event.. i mean i like their phones, but it's much l... moreMicrosoft event was the best this year. Apple event was typical, some exciting part but mostly same words. While watching the Android event I felt paralysed because of all the leaks -_-
AnonD-221755, 17 Nov 2015Apple's WWDC tickets cost around 1500-1600$...so in comparison, these $30 are nothing. This isnt the same. WWDC happens once a year. This is a product briefing/announcement and happens many times a year. Anyone who brags about 1500$ or argues pricing here really is stupid.

AnonD-462421, 17 Nov 2015Would love to get into Xiaomi.. Flagship phones for midrange pricing? but unfortunately for me... moreGet the mi3 or better even the mi4
Somewhat older but still very relevant spec wise (mi4) and you have official cm support. Also, you can get them at a decent price.
AnonD-221755, 17 Nov 2015Apple's WWDC tickets cost around 1500-1600$...so in comparison, these $30 are nothing.Thats because apple people are stupit enough to pat that.
Would love to get into Xiaomi.. Flagship phones for midrange pricing? but unfortunately for me, i'm a diehard loyalist to CM.. so until they pick up some more support i'll have to wait.
not like they have much of a presence in the US anyway though.
About time Mi5 was here and shown to the world, maybe then Apple and the big boys will see that there is no need to rip people off with prices.....including events at what price!!!
Martin, 17 Nov 2015Yep, but who the hell cares about a Xiaomi event.. i mean i like their phones, but it's much l... moreThey both are sales campaigs, nothing more. The only difference is the amount of money, seen relatively to the product and its value, they want for their introduced product. But everyone has to decide for themselves where to spend their money.
