Opera mobile 10 is cool, but no way to save images. Does opera mini 5 support this? Also does it play youtube videos? And also, will all my bookmarks n saved pages get carried over from 4.2 to mini 5? I have a n95 8gb.

I have been using opera mini 4.x for a year on my nokia E63. Last month, I installed the opera Mini 5 final ver. on same my E63 phone and used it for 3 days.
I don't like opera mini 5. Reasons: Longer time of reload pages. It freezes for many times if I don't close the page tab and tried to go back to "speed dial" page. Opera mini 5 bookmarks, it won't allow me to sort to my order, unlike mini 4.x.
I did download the mini 5 final which said made for E63, directly from operamini.com site.
I now uninstall it and keep using opera mini 4.2 until they have newer better version release in the future.

Opera mini 5 for iphone is extremly fast but it (sometime) produces inaccurate tasks.
For example, i went to dpreview to check on one DSLR camera, it has drop down page, when i touch it to move to certain page, it didnt effect, i must try 2-3 times before it goes to the page.
again, i login to one airline website to check on the flight schedule, obviously i put departure date 29 May 2010 and return flight on 31 may 2010, guess what, opera pop up mentioned that "Invalid data range! the date you selected has already passed", i kept trying 5x, and still sama result.
then i swiched to Safari iphone, only one try, same data rerquested, it shows perfectly the schedule.
i guess fast but inaccuracy is unreliable.

I had opera 10 beta and from my point of view it was more flexible than the last version: I have WinMo with touch screen and when I tried to write new address in address box in new Opera 10 the taping pad didn't appear. How could I tape there I can't understand...
another thing is the very strange Yandex. That I didn't expect. In beta version there was google and without saying nothing Opera changed google with this strange search option (?!). did they pay you more?
Due to this two strange things I removed opera 10 fully from my mobile!

i can say that opera mini 4.2 better suited for non-touchscreen phone (mine bberry 8520), opera 5 for touchscreen phone (mine lg arena)

I have got the new Opera Mini 5 in a Nokia E63 (Symbian) with the same problem of beta versions: it can't read the full key map, lack the characters _ % > < [ ] $ and others, very important in passwords and other stuff.
I thought this bug would be fixed at final version, but not. As another: one hit at space bar means three spaces at you text, yet.
Annoying bugs in a great browser... I use the Mini 4.2 to everything, and I love its quick navigation with main button that miss in new Opera version.

and btw for the guy asking, opera obile is better than mini, because it is in phone native os and thus runs better, besides it has more features.

Damn its brilliant on my 5530.. Why do winmo get flashlite and not symbian? symbian is way more popular.

I am unable to even get to the download screen as I automatically get redirected to v4.2 for vodafone. Is there a different way to get it?

i have this and the opera mobile 10 on my nokia n95 and nokia 5800 xm as alternative web browsers because of the copy and paste feature....works great.

I'm using opera 5 mini 3 month ago it's faster than opera mobile.
But now...
Opera mobile is as fast as opera mini and it's a lot better.
Just turn on opera turbo and see what happen.. nice work opera...

Performance is upgraded from the beta 2 version. But i think the visual navigation is working little bit slow than the previous one. But overall everything is ok and they added my most favourite features like fullscreen editing, copy paste, tab browsing and a password manager. Very good job from opera. I'm happy with opera mini 5 using my LG Neo. Bravo opera! Keep going. :-)
