the hw6940 has a signficantly lower quality GPS receiver, older Bluetooth as well as less memory, both ram and rom. HP has essentially taken all of yesterday's technology and put it all in one semi-affordable package. The Loox T800 is similar, just up to date and not obsolete out of the box like the hw6940... it'll also cost you around $900, as opposed to the $300 or $400 for the hw6940.

Since it is a triband phone and missing the crucial, 850Mhz band,it might only work with T-Mobile in USA.

I think HP's HW6940 would be a better choice. Has all features the T800 has and does have a much sleeker look. The T800 looks like a brick. HP's latest models has proven to be much more stable (OS).

Really Cool!!! wonder when it is going to come out in Australia. I would luv to get it. however, i have some reservations about the stability in using Windows Mobile. So far, only HP proved really worth use the OS. Other PDA phones often hangs or have problems with bluetooth or clarity in reception (GSM/WIFI). Hope the T830 would prove me wrong.
