Currently am using Zylo..its working very fine.. I've used Spiro too, It's nasty.

My sister and I bought our Zylos last October 2010. Two months later, we both started having problems with our phones. At first we experienced latency with the features/functions, and then colors started to get all mixed up, until finally the display/screen would turn off upon slide-up.

This happened on separate occasions because my sister who is abroad right now only just told me about what happened to her phone. I was surprised we had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM!

I took mine back to the Sony Ericsson authorized dealer and service center where we bought it, and it also took almost 2 months to get fixed because the mechanical part that needed to be replaced had to be ordered overseas (Singapore to be specific), and it took them quite a while to acquire it. My sister will have to wait until she gets back home next month to have her phone fixed. The only consolation is that it would still be under warranty.

I've read on internet user forums that other Zylo owners have experienced the same problem. Has SE issued a statement about this manufacturing defect? Is there no product recall for this unit? I am really disappointed.

Its great to kno SE catering basic WALKMAN phones for people who seek nothing more than great music capabilities from a phone.
For those who are want SE to make a full touch WALKMAN, good news!! YENDO is gonna b launched sometime soon... And for those who wanna hog for more can get AINO or VIVAZ or XPERIA... Who say's SE has lost it...? Just coz they launched a low end phone dsnt mean that they r makin phone's good for the past!!!! They hav some awesome masterpice phones as well... Get ur hands on it and den comment!!!!

hey.. i wana buy a phone whic has loud music wid d speakers as well as d headset... i heard d good reviews abt d loudnes of w395 but i em fascinated by d looks n d featurs f zylo.. so totally stuk in between ..my fren got a w705 n its not loud at al so now i kno dat expensiv phones need not b loud.. now d only thg i can decide upon is whethr zylo vl b loud or not.. pl help me out...

we need 3.5mm audio jack in sony w series latest mobiles ( spiro & xylo ) because 3.5mm audio jack is long life & easy to use , so its our request to sony ericsson to change the audio jack in future all w series mobiles.

About the nonexistence of 3,5 mm audio jack, what you need them for? SE got some pretty decent earphones, so you really don't need any 3rd party stuff. And if you do insist to use one, some SE hands free do have 3,5mm jack option, so you can unplug the earphone part of the hands free and plug in whatever fancy you...
