I would really appreciate a release date. I am excited for this device especially the fact that the TouchScreen isn't the idiotic press touch of the Storm

The real name for this new 9800 is probably the BlackBerry Torch.

in my opinion, BB 9800 is the best coorporation between BB 9700 and Storm.

Liquid lens technology has been here for some time but this is possibly the first commercial application. It produces a infinitely variable lens curvature/focus structure by varying the shape of a liquid droplet which acts like a lens.

When is it coming out. I'm planning to get the Bold 9700 by the end of this month, but I'd really like to wait for this Slider 9800.
Damn you RIM, don't try to be like Nokia please, please, please!

Anyone? Should I wait?

> In reply to [deleted post]Side sliders are good for typing yes, infact I just said under that they should make side slider based on Storm's design but portrait slider/qwerty are not a no-winner at all, for a quick one hand typing and other operation they are the fastest and most comfortable way so yes options are good and they are all winners based on user's requirement.

Handset looks all right, good screen option for black Berry users. However I would like to see a slider perhaps side version base on Storm's design. Storm's look is killer, its design is very attractive yet very business-like, in short it has class of its own.

Bad substandard desigh ...

a slider side QWERTY key pad would be a winner.

Dual SIM , Touch QWERTY and Stylus inputs .... ALL are a MUST
