Makes me even more excited on what Apple would do for the A10, or even the A10X.
Higher than iphone 6s gpu? Iphone each year has best gpu GPU, now sd820 is the king, this year gonna be amazing for android flagships
More competition will be better for us
i dont care if it andreno, qualcom, a9, exynos or whar ever the he!! it is
as long as it give the best price per performance for me, as costomer
I'll take it with no hesitation

These scores have been on GFXBench for quite some time, but yes, they are quite impressive! I expect that the Exynos 8890 will perform similarly to the Snapdragon 820, and will be extremely competitive in real-world applications -- the Exynos's Mali has the advantage of computationally-free MSAA (for forward rendering) and on-chip deferred rendering (eliminating external bandwidth for deferred rendering).
Both chips should be very strong. It's amazing to see how far mobile chips have come!
I'm also very interested to see if Nvidia follows up their Tegra line. I really appreciate that Tegra targets the power profile of high-end tablets and sub-notebooks, giving their APs a performance advantage over chips targeting phones.
AnonD-49453, 04 Feb 2016Its happens every year. We wait and see the apple takes the crown.hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Is that a real game in the background?
if qualcomm doesnt mess up and the OEMs dont hash up i think SD820 will be the default high end SoC for android 2016 it seems so balanced on paper i just wish there wont be throttling and unhandles issues with this upcoming chipset if i go any flagship phone it just must be SD 820 it even silences the powervr7600 offered by current apple SoC. nicely done qualcomm.

Probably fake...
EXYNOS 8890 will win in overall performance
I had a good feeling about SD820
Anandtech reviewed the 820 a long time ago already.
It may have been a mistake for Samsung to use the same chip that LG is going to use in the G5...unless however they also intend to give us external battery/SD card with the S7...
