Marco M, 15 Feb 2016Sooo many strange comments here, makes me wonder what the average age of the ones posting coul... moreShame on Samsung.Their S7 is worth $1100 here in Australiaand battery life is nowwhere near 6000mah.For that price it should be 24000mah.There is NO WAY im buying a samsung or iphone latest, instead will purchase one of these Chinese brand phones.Better battery life, and fast enough processor for all my apps, excellent camera, for a quarter of the price. How ripped off are poor people who havent doen a little bit of research on android phones online and how to purchase them.

Cheap, reliable, after more than 2 years the battery lasts nearly 2 days. They don't know what they are talking about...
Sooo many strange comments here, makes me wonder what the average age of the ones posting could be.
Never heard of Zopo? Well there are many relatively small phone Manufacturers in China that makes great phones with lovely design and very decent - near stock ROMs. Such as Zopo, Ulefone, Jiayu, Umi, Elephone and many others.
Zopo is not a very new company, nor very old company, and they started up in 2008. They have pretty much done as most other chinese phone manufacturers have, making very decent phones with MTK inside and usually Sony or OmniVision camera sensor.
Since MTK in 2012/2013 started making CPU's that no longer were years behind the power of Snapdragon, Exynos and others, considering phones from the likes of Zopo and others was actually not so bad. I got my first, direct-from-China, Zopo in 2013. The Zopo 990, and it's large screen, great battery made it perfect for my needs.
Having seen how quickly Mediatek's CPU grow in speed and both gaining on, and now even passing Qualcomm for those who still care for benchmark tests, despite most mid to high end phones having overkill CPU/GPU hardware for some time now, it becomes difficult to not consider phones with MTK inside.
Just last week my wife got her new Ulefone Power. So why that phone instead of others, including big brands? Well, try and find any phone from any of the big brands with specs anywhere near 5.5" FHD IPS, 3GB RAM and power similar to MT6753 at a similar price range, $200. There isn't one, not anywhere near it. Closest chipset competitor is Snapdragond 615, wich has less power and is also less power efficient.
Now then if you go on to include that hefty 6000 mAh battery, 13MP Sony shooter with dedicated camera button, dual SIM (or Sim+microSD) and finger print reader, you'll quickly see what a great bargain that phone is - at least for those who demand a large built in battery. If not, then there are many others, including from Ulefone and Zopo, that has near identical specs in many different designs from the mentioned manufacturers above at a even lower price.
After owning the Zopo ZP990 for a while I got the Xperia Z Ultra, as I wanted an even bigger screen. And my brother in-law has the ZP990. Now I'm waiting for a Helio X20 device with a large enough screen and hopefully a very decent battery compared to my Xperia.
Maybe a Zopo, maybe something else :o)
Oh, and since these phones run android, even tiny little Norway and it's gloablly speaking extremely few citizens (inlcuding myself and my wife) can enjoy our native norwegian language on the phones we buy direct from China. It's actually not that long ago this was pretty impossible.
i think it is a break away team from oppo that made this company
their obvious lack of creativity gave birth to oppo

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2016It's because the people on GSM Arena are obnoxious and snobby. I mean look at all the comments... moreof course we like to complain and critisise and at some instances ba$h some brands just for fun. its what we like to do to kill time :D
How the phone are travelling in air.....lol....anyone can develop the device ...lol...
All ok, except,
1. poor camera quality

3. build quality
4. price > major brand competitor

I mean look at all the comments on literally any phone on this website. They bash it for every single little thing. Screen size, RAM, cpu, camera, battery life. You could have a phone come out tomorrow with a 20 core processor, 10 gb of ram, 50 mp camera, 6000 mhz, for like 200 bucks, and some idiots on GSM would still somehow find a way to complain about inconsequential bs. There's criticism and then there's whining. GSM commentators are the latter.
Anonymous, 13 Feb 2016i love how people want super thin phones with amazing cameras. obviously there will be a camer... morethe Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6 and 6s had a camera hump and justified it with camera quality, let's hope this Zo....zo...zopo can do the same
i love how people want super thin phones with amazing cameras. obviously there will be a camera hump, you cant have both people! at least not until they come out with something new for camera sensers
