Let's just turn our attention--as iPhone users--to the next iPhone release in June 7th.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-05-25 19:57 from PEdG - click to readThe NK5800 is the biggest pile of dung going especially if you have V50.0.05 firmware which is riddled with bugs, an utterly hopeless phone from the outset because it's god damned awful Symbian OS.

As for the N8, we'll have to see what it's like in "real world" testing, but with its specifications & Symbian OS, I can't see it being much good.

What? Does this guy never take his head out of this phone and look at the real world or something.
Compared the Nokia and Symbian sales, Apple is just a joke!!!
Just see for your self.

> In reply to Heartbreak Kid @ 2010-05-26 09:53 from MfxM - click to readThose haters actually wish they could own an iphone. They want a piece of it. But they can't due to some circumstances. Like maybe they can't afford a data plan. They can't afford to buy music and movies and only depend on media file transfer from other people. Can't afford to buy apps, and again only depend on other people to share apps with them. You see Apple does not allow those things with the iphone. And because of those restrictions, they hate the iphone, and so they settle for other phones and try to justify their bitterness by hating the iphone and its users :)

Even an article on an iPhone price cut attracts so much more interest than a lot of other articles. iPhone articles are always hot news, this clearly proves that the iPhone has set such a benchmark and is the leading touchscreen device in the mobile industry.

Haters will disagree, but why do they keep appearing on iPhone forums. Because deep down they KNOW the iPhone is that good! :)

Suggest you ask your better half, your parents, as if they have heard or seen or even use iphone, then dig out a brick....like N82/N86 or whetever, and ask them as if such is N95...

> In reply to Gav @ 2010-05-25 13:20 from MkXA - click to readand that partly has to do with the almighty brand's own strategy by releasing dozens of so called "new" phones every MONTH.

Apple releases one new phone every YEAR, which can easily be recognized by most non-tech geeks.

How about the almighty brand? For the average Joe out there, can they really tell the differences between the all black bricks look-alike phones such as 5800/5230/5530 or even N97 (without sliding out)....hence in a way the almighty brand cannabalizes its own products, and that won't change in the near future.

Most iphone users I know do not even know what this place is all about, or do they ever care to post any comment here...

Good news to apple

nokia do not want to cross license with apple if nokia is found guilty and nokia ihad had enough of of these negative comments about them , they have decided to not license their powerful patents to apple.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2010-05-25 15:59 from BwVV - click to readI don't see why you would complain about the 2 yr contract. All providers offer talk, text and data plan anyway. So how did Apple become the con man? Do you know of any carrier in the US that offers free talk, text and 3g data? Don't hate Apple just because you cannot afford a $30 data plan. Get a good paying job :)

> In reply to [deleted post]In defense to that other guy that you callee brainless, I think he's a pretty smart guy. I don't think he's jealous at all of your n8. If you bothered to read the trail of comments, you would see that nokia fanboys, again, are the ones bringing up nokia devices. If your nokia n8 is that popular, why do you guys promote it in iphone articles? Lol. Are you nokia fanboys trying to ride on to the iphone's popularity? :)
