S7 all the way.
LG lost my trust after G4. They nailed it with G2 (one of the best phones I had) but lost it soon after. G4 is uncomfortable to hold, slippery, laggy (slower than g2), and lasts less than g2 in terms of battery. There are also a few other things that make the user experience a lot worse than g2.
Now G5. Who in the right frame of mind is going to carry (or remember to carry) all these add ons?! As we all wake up in the morning and think "I feel like listening to music on a train today....let's take B&O add on". No! I just want a phone which is ready for all eventualities. Has a great camera and screen, smooth interface and big battery.
Not to mention that I never understood the whole idea of removable battery. Not only you have to remember to take a spare with you but you also need to remember to charge it! Too much babysitting / work if you ask me. So what G5 did? It gives you even smaller battery in comparison to G2/G3/G4.

AnonD-385537, 29 Feb 2016I don't think a power bank is going to be as big as that hump on G5 Camera module. Shreedhar, 29 Feb 2016Really? SD820 is manufactured by Qualcomm and not by Samsung.Manufactured by Samsung. Designed by qualcomm.
the summary would be that :
G5 is better on paper with much cool features regarding wide-angle cams featuring 16/8 mp cams , metal frame with removable battery which is an incredible combine through a modular design ..
S7 got better (Display - battery - low light cam - and design) giving it an edge over G5 .(speaking of edge) the S7 Edge could settle the competition with its premium design considering a lot of people liked it
AnonD-190634, 29 Feb 2016I was talking about software features! google itstop it !!! watch out until the iphone 7 comes out !!
Galaxy S7.
Reasons:
Display / Design / App Drawer / Screen-to-body ratio / Battery / IP68 with without compromising the design.
And just one point here: I'm really worried about this "no app drawer" thing... That's one of the things I like the most on Android.
Here comes a real winner that can wipe out both in zero time Samsung Note 6 Specs:
6-inch flexible display
Android 6.0.1
4K Resolution
16-Core processor
Exynos + Snapdragon Chipset
6 GB RAM
32, 64, 128 GB Internal Storage
Micro SD card support
20 MP Primary camera
4000 mAh Battery

G5 has its advantages and disadvantages. An honest opinion takes this into consideration. You're just bashing
AnonD-444894, 28 Feb 2016both have gaming features .. they have the same GPUI was talking about software features! google it
I am a metal unibody fan since M7 and think that glass back side is the worse decision ever. Also, think that sd performs better than exns

AnonD-493815, 29 Feb 2016Any phone that has a physical button that is repeatedly pushed many times a day as Apple will ... moreLol...and a phone which you have to constantly removable the bottom to add modules won't eventually become loose or catch corrosion due to dust getting in such a large cavity? I've honestly never heard of a samsung home button becoming damaged because of constant use and I know people who has older models. Samsung ships tons of phones and I'm yet to hear about this.
On paper I like the G5 more. But in reality, I don't see people wanting to carry around and deal with the modules. I feel like it's going to be a gimmick for a very small power user audience.
S7 just looks like a great phone. I wish they would sell a 1080p variant tho. I feel like the QHD resolution ends up being a battery drain more than anything at least on a 5.2" display. Cutting the QHD display for +battery, +performance and -price sounds like a good deal for me.
LG G5... 1. smaller 5.3" screen... which is still LCD... always on will kill battery faster... 2. two main cameras... when it comes down to crunch... the 16MP will be used. 3. Modular crap. The LG V10 had DAC support. Why would I need to plug a module to get that?!! Modular = gimmick (a new LG model will come out later in the year that will supersede this).
Anonymous, 28 Feb 2016S7 Edge has all the features that matter to potential buyers.Like slippery surface, sealed battery that would be trashed in a year or so, same amount of ram and screen as s6+ , big upper and down bezels , thicker than last year ... yeah ... I can see how it is the perfect phone.
q8peace , 29 Feb 2016Lg smoke samsung in many things usb type c and dual camera 16 and 8 unique removable battery e... moreReally Samsung wins in display, camera focus, many daylight areas, definitely low light, more advanced software, more battery, more battery efficiency, heat pipes, and Exynos variety with extremely similar single core speed but a huge lead in multi core, and more than likely audio.
The advantages of those modules don't count unless someone uses them. They are mods and addons. Not out of box parts of the phone
Anonymous, 29 Feb 2016On the G5 you could just swap the battery out in a minute
While what they said was stupid about the modular thing.
G5s removable battery does not change the fact of the much larger 3600mah of the S7 edge or the better battery efficiency of it.
And while i doubt what they said about that charger charging existing phones that fast. ..if it were true then the G5s removable battery definitely wouldn't change those things
