This is a good move. Why waste resources on dead platforms and dead platform versions. :)
bb10 users won't have to worry, as they can still install the latest apk
Whatsapp are an arrogant multinational company, happy to support Blackberry customers when they were charging for it.
Do they really think we will dump our Z30, Passports and Classics for an app, screw them there are over a million Blackberry users out there and with facetime and hangouts in the wings I for one an not bothered.
Nokia stopped supoorting/updating their Symbian OS long back. What's App was/is the only app which received updates in last 3 years. It's time to move on. Those who are still using Nokia phones (myself included) should appreciate What's App for supporting the OS for long time. Even next year, we won't receive further updates. But the app will work as earlier.
haha D.Pari so windows phone isn't ready nti they should wait for you or what?
I hate company that discrinate against the poor million of people in africa, indian and south america still make use of Nokia series 60 and 40 old blackberry even current BB 10. Yeah take down whatspp I take down my face book acc
F facebook u want to kill whatsapp millions of people in Africa make use of whatsapp for their cheap phone. End whatsapp and I will close down my facebook account
I don't see why they would drop availability for Blackberry Devices. Really a stupid move.
Well BlackBerry 10 supports apk format apps so it is easy to side load future versions of whats app in BlackBerry 10 smartphones.
Best way to be on W10 is to drop support for the mobile version create a universal app. That way apps can support desktops, phones, xbox consoles etc etc. And apps like WhatsApp would be extremely useful on continuum.
