A lot of sore sony fanboys here. Haha. Can't accept the fact that their brand is no longer the hotshot it once was.
Sony is better.... I'm an Indian and yes Indians do vote for Mi anyday as it's cheaper.... For US ppl i guess Sony is way better....Lte bands sucks in Mi... And Sony is better quality anday
Kanchana1, 06 Mar 2016What's the point of this Poll. MI5 is a flagship and Xperia X is a mid ranger. It's obvious th... moreit was fight xiaomi mi 5 vs Sony xperia x performance so what do you mean midranger? Sony is a lot expensivier than xiaomi.
Alien, 06 Mar 2016I'm not confused at all. Maybe you are cos you saw it said Snapdragon 820 and you instantly th... moreSo according to u even htc one m9 and xperia z5 are both mid range smartphones????
And regarding cores, u have 0% knowledge of what u r talking about..... Coz according to u, lg g5, galaxy s7 (sd820), htc m10 are all mid rangers......
As i said..... U hav no idea about anythng that goes on in this blog......
U sir, should buy an IPHONE.........and take pics in a mirror.....
Alien, 06 Mar 2016I'm not confused at all. Maybe you are cos you saw it said Snapdragon 820 and you instantly th... morewell your words make you look like an alien because 1. Quad hd screen just kills more battery 2. Less the cores , automatically for flagships it, is much better as it improves single core performance , which most of the times is used in mobiles, it has stereo speakers, waterproofing, new quinovo tech or something for battery,it kinda looks stylish, i agree with you a little on ram but sony ui is very light and near stock (not like heavy ui like miui or touchwiz which just leaves 500mb ram on galaxy alpha despite having 2gb ram) thus is enough, well i think sony will bring out a real flagship in 2016 i think it will have 1gb ram improvement atleast as it would likely pack snaodragon 820 too, and i think it will depart glass back design atleast ,as the z series is removed
I'd have to give the XP my vote. Nothing against Xiaomi but I seriously doubt they'll have LTE bands that support my region (the US). And if you don't have LTE you're no flagship to me!
ethereal, 06 Mar 2016No offense but this is only Indians who are upvoting xiaomi here since it's note affordable th... moreConsidering durability, No problem for two year.. And in current situation I think most of the people keep on changing mobiles at least for 2 years..
Me too an Indian.. Majority of Those who voted for mi might not be Indians. Because most of Indians might not be aware of this website. And if they are aware then most of them are brand loyalists or are following big brands.. And leave the voting apart.. If it was Samsung galaxy s7 or lg g5 vs mi5 then Indians would have voted for those two.. Not mi5. That is the difference and value of brand. I'm not fan of any of these brands.. You might be thinking that cheaper is not good.. Or else you are big hater of Chinese products..
ssbatman21, 06 Mar 2016So u r saying xperia x performance is a midrange smartphone with the processor which is better... moreI'm not confused at all. Maybe you are cos you saw it said Snapdragon 820 and you instantly thought this is a high-end flagsip. But you are wrong cos it only has 4 cores, not 8. And the list goes on:
3GB RAM not 4
FHD not QHD
This makes the XP a mid-range flagship.
2016 High-End Flagsip requirements:
- 8 - 10 core processor
- 4 - 6 GB RAM
- min 2K display
Stop living in the past!
Come on, face the reality.
Many people still live in the past.
Xiaomi is one of the future.
And for those who say Chinese phones are inferior over Sony, etc.... again, you are live in the past. Sony is good, but many are hard to admit that Chinese phones made by company like Xiaomi, Huawei, Meizu, Oppo are NOW at the same league?
Yes, the poll is comparing Xiaomi Mi 5 vs Sony X Performance.
Here is the link: http://www.gsmarena.com/weeken...ws-16927.php
Both are flagships from respective companies.
Life is not flat, life is changing.
The same thing goes to smartphones (technology).
There will always be a new era, like it or not.
It's the reality....
ssbatman21, 06 Mar 2016Its against x performance only.......
Read d article properly
Xiaomi is a clear winner here.... moreWe will see .
xiaomi has never give a good camera before .
Hope this isnt same camera as redmi note 3 .
Xiaomi's buit is pretty solid too, I owned Mi3, and still pretty good even today
Does the author even know what phone they're comparing? They say Xperia X and in the final statement says even the XP might have had a problem, yet the polling pic shows the XP. Partially Sony's fault for bad naming scheme.
No offense but this is only Indians who are upvoting xiaomi here since it's note affordable than the Sony, but what about their design and durability? They are the next copy cat after Samsung.
