Water Resistant is way way too different from Water Proof. Don't mislead people guys. -_-
So this might be the reason why Samsung did not go yet with USB Type-C bandwagon, cause it may not supported this feature or the waterproofing itself?

Funny enough Apple don't need such feature, they have feature called - "no water proofing", so when you take your phone out of the puddle you don't need to worry about wet charging port... you know straight away.... it is DEAD.
Appreciate the thoughtfulness here Samsung! S series this year might be more of an incremental upgrade, but overall is far more a cohesive product than last year's devices. Keep up the good work
what if it turn off because the battery died and i plug in the charger with the port wet
