Yes one for a few days in the history of apple vs thousands daily on the other platform

The one thing I love ❤ about Apple 🍎 is how they quickly take actions when they have vulnerabilities... Things just get fixed on the go and I think that is how things must be handled.
Apple sure loves to make devices vulnerable to ransomwares.
There has been one targeted at linux too, but the fact that linux is using software repositories makes the infection very unlikely - unless the repository gets infected, kind of like Mint was hijacked and their .iso injected with a trojan a while ago.

No one want to waste time writing a virus or in this case ransomware on a small market Apple operating system unless they are too bored and nothing else to do. Windows are targeted because of wider user base, so a bigger chance of success. As for vulnerability, all operating system has it's own vulnerability. You want it to be secure? Do not connect it to the internet and never use media that you do not trust...

My argument: Really now? It has less v... moreSafer because of less known vulnerabilities, that's is a variant of security through obscurity, that is is discouraged and not recommended by any security savvy, it's use can lead to worse damage.

My argument: Really now? It has less vulnerabilities in the wild. Fact regardless of reasoning.
You: are wasting your breath.
AnonD-362866, 07 Mar 20161 maybe 2 malware examples vs billions? hahahahahahahahahaSry but there are much more then 2 .moreover, win 10 has a strong security .stop defending apple for no reason :( . Windows is much more (much much much) open then mac.furthermore, there is more malwares designed and programmed for it .91% of pc market share is not 5.7% ,you'll get more profits from making a malware for windows then releasing a solution for it.

so who said that apple is more secure than windows/android devices??? Look how many issues they have.... Nothing is impossible.
Crapple
Sic transit Gloria mundi - another proof for not invincible Apple OS.
There were times that Apple OS was with so small market share, that no one bother to make viruses for it. When market share grow, happens inevitable.
Another reason why regular external media back-ups are a very good idea.
well nothing is impossible to breakdown even OS X, encrypting the system that's a bit smart but putting a timer in an app is not.
Hoooooooly shit!
