Yay, Qualcomm as we all expected continue as the kings of the chipsets. I can feel the Apple and Samsung fanboys hurting so much, ouch! ouch! don't worry, someone has to lose really badly.
Rini, 08 Mar 2016My friend's samsung s2 is faster and has better display than my iphone 4s why??? s2 screen is terrible compared to 4s.
You can see all the pixels, where on the 4s you cant.
Minori, 08 Mar 2016820 is one hell of a beast. I'm not sure anymore if I want a S7 with Exynos inside. I hope the... moreand then the 830 would top that... newer release normally tops the older release
820 is one hell of a beast. I'm not sure anymore if I want a S7 with Exynos inside. I hope the Note 6 brings new chipset with comparable or better GPU than 820.
But the next A10 in iPhone 7 will destroy 820 ...
Spudly Mcgudly, 07 Mar 2016Actually he is right.. These results are averages and it only takes one 820 powered phone with... moreSo if they all had lower resolution like, say, an iphone, the results would be even more in favor of the 820.
parthjoshi09, 08 Mar 2016Not much difference in CPU performance. Exynos is just as fast but that difference in GPU perf... moreNo, it does not mean heating. New design on smaller die. Get with the program and DYOR (do your own research) before you post.
Search engines are your friend. Don't be afraid to use them.
Quick it beats Apple A9...
But it's hex/octa core v dual core..
It beats Apple period!!!!
What isn't told here is power consumption and efficiency of the 820. It's 30%-45% more efficient than previous 8xx series chips.
Phones with the 820 are going to have awesome performance.
The SD810 in my 950XL constantly pushes 88-89000 Points? Must be because Windows isn't a hog like Android is and Microsoft manages to keep the temperatures lower than other manufacturers.
Not much difference in CPU performance. Exynos is just as fast but that difference in GPU performance..wow. Snapdragon is the king. But that also means more heating, right? Also I think Samsung has done proper research. Releasing SD820 versions in US and China where the gaming community is more active and Exynos in India,UK and others where gaming community is active but not that much, nothing that Exynos cant handle.
Definitely gonna buy this.
Anonymous, 08 Mar 2016Top benchmark, but daily usage still cannot beat a dual core iPhone.
ROFL! Android OS.. wha... moreSo do u want to say tht iphone is only good for daily use
or iphone users cant do better with iPhones other then daily use.
It's a conspiracy, S820, never had that high score, but why it has to be smuggled from Europe or USA to be used n Asia Middle East. Single core is better but multi core playing games Exynos 8890 better. It's hate or take situation, I personally say aloud single Exynos should have been maintained, why 820 American Yankee favoritism, nothing else.
Top benchmark, but daily usage still cannot beat a dual core iPhone.
ROFL! Android OS.. what a hog!
A less than 1% difference between the exynos and snapdragon variant should not have any influence on performance but will certainly get the dev community angry for making different variants.
Maxinoss, 08 Mar 2016My i7 desktop is much faster than all of this and I think will be same for at least 3 - 5 year... moreNice to know. Put that thing in your pocket and let's go running together. :D
Rohit12, 08 Mar 2016Many users dont want QHD Samsung should use Exynos 8890 on 5" FHD display. Then antutu score ... moreI am using a quad hd display, motorola moto maxx, sd805. adreno 420 isn't enough for this panel, but I am not suffering in poor battery life, I am getting around 5-6hrs of screen on time at auto brightness. QHD is for adreno 430 IMO. 530 is overkill already even for QHD display. Yes you can't notice the difference between FHD and QHD on a mobile, Even me much prefer 1080p. The only reason why sd805 is not in the chart because of the processor, It still use the krait cores which is found on the sd800 and sd 801 family. Making the multicore test lagging a lot from it's competitors but not on a single core test. BTW this are just benchmarks next year they announce it again as"our latest processor with 40 percent improvement in gpu or cpu" It's just a gimmick. Let's not fool our selves android is already good at sd800 chipset. Yeah it would be nice to have sd820 but cost you too much, you can have the old sd 800 on a very cheap price without compromising performance.
