so at this point are they going to be taking orders on the 21s? or is it going to be in-stores on the shelf so it can be in my hands that day ? (one could only hope)

This is absolutely TRUE! I was going to upgrade yesterday to a Mytouch 3g Slide but my friend told me to wait til' July. He said it was confidential to say anything but he still showed me his email. This phone will indeed be hitting T-MO U.S.A. The only problem now; Nokia N8 will be out a month later. Now, I don't know what to decide on. The only thing I don't like about this phone is that, it does not have flash (camera). So long and thank you NOKIA N95 for 4 great years. I will miss you dearly.

In sunlight AMOLED is maybe a bit worse than LCD.But, in my AMOLED phone I haven't any dead mega pixel while in LCD displays I had dead pixels isues(2-3 dead pixels. no more) from first month some time. And one time I had one dead pixel from the box. :(
But, Super AMOLED is even better than AMOLED:
-better touch
-20% brighter
-80% better under sun(too important for me)
-spend 20% lower battery

That's why it is brighter, less glass the light to pass through. Maybe it is also on higher voltage so it lights stronger but then it wears out faster too. So far I saw no OLED better than TFT, let's hope this super OLED is superior. Check it in sunlight before to buy it and hope its pixels don't die in first year.

I don't know what kind of calendar they're using in Korea, but July is most definitely not "Q2". I'm going to go ahead and continue to irrationally hope that it will surprise-release on AT&T this month ahead of the iPhone 4 launch

does anyone know when it will be available from UK operators Vodafone and Virgin?? Its on their website sayin coming soon for weeks already, GSMarena says its was released for europe a week ago but still i cant have it!! I cant wait for this phone its not nice to keep us waiting that long...
