This will need some big temperature isolation materials otherwise the heat from the computer part will make your face sweat and this in turn will forg up the lenses.
I looked it up on "hotebookcheck"
The first paragraph shares a little more cool news...
The AMD FX-8800P is the top-tier Carrizo APU of 2015 for mainstream laptops. It is a SoC containing two Excavator CPU modules (with 4 integer and 2 FP units counted as 4 compute cores), a Radeon R7 graphics card with 8 compute cores (512 shaders), a DDR3-2133 (35 Watt cTDP) memory controller and a video engine (including UVD 6 with hardware HEVC / H.265 decoding).
It goes on to show the 'scalability' of the chip (heat/performance efficiency)..
They might be able to get away with slower clocked ram and 12Watt CPU for cooler or lighter headset, it will be worth keeping an eye on this product..
It looks like the perfect part, and will no doubt render high frame rates needed for augmented reality (not making people uncomfortable really quickly).
Good luck.
I would put proc. and batt. around the back of the head - for balance and long term comfort.
Is Sword Art Online : The Beginnings compatible in this Device?

Why dont they make just a small PC that you can carry like a "purse", no screen or keyboard, and a light VR heaset? Thats a good idea that i should copyright ;)
Hopefully this doesn't get infected with Nvidia Game Works.
be ready to get eyes burned out and head flamed... amd, pls stick to desktop hardware. your overheated stuff cant fit wearable things!
PC filled with AMD, never again. This would probably run hot and set your facial hair on fire if you happen to wear it... But we'll see, maybe it's okay.
I wonder what overheat would do to your head.
