I am a long time user of cell phones and handheld devices. I hope I just got a bad unit because I found the ES400 to be a literal Dinosaur! The touch screen is near impossible to use quickly, taking forever to enter with either the keyboard or stylus. The other problem I experienced with it is the menus are Microsoft, meaning you have to scroll/search thru a lot of meaningless garbage to access what you want. Give me back my IPod or Android!

I'm an iphone user but i have to say windows mobile 6.5 is a very productive os and makes your smartphone simply feel like a real pc,even though its complicated in some aspects i still think its a far more better os to be used in business phones. I hope windows phone 7 doesn't spell the end of windows mobile 6.5 which i personally think it resembles the iphone os a lot in limiting the user by over simplifying the os and requiring those huge specs like 1ghz well i doubt if the os will be stable and if the battery will be able to survive for more than a day. I hope manufacturers will still see windows mobile 6.5 and continue supporting it.

Moto is doing well with android. droid 1, milestone xt720, droid x and droid 2 are my favorite even if some nice device like backflip are there. also not to forget moto i1 also water proof. now if moto can make a droid like on windows platform with 1 ghz, 512 ram, 1 gb rom, internal memory 8 gb, 12 megapixel, hd record, video call, windows 7 that will be perfect. What do you think?

I work for a Motorola reseller and we've had confirmation that the List price will be £514.80 for standard battery or £525 with the 2x batery.

I'd be interested if it had a 5mpx to keep with the standard, but the rest of it is really nice, weatherproof is what I like most about this device also reminds me of my E72.

> In reply to goron goron @ 2010-06-18 23:54 from KhsE - click to readWell that's becuz the phone is gonna be for retail and corporate enterprise businesses. They plan to sell it in bulk to companies. I'd say hold off purchasing this phone unless you REALLY need it, or if you are in a business.

> In reply to [deleted post]DO people read before commenting? This isn't a new OS, it's an update of 6. WP7, 6.5 and this is all on the SAME platform. Also, this isn't even for consumer markets, it's for business and enterprise.

I didn't expect people to be this stupid.
