Also, many Appleheads like to boast about the phone costing a premium because it's a premium device. These types of issues say otherwise.

Eddie, 04 Apr 2016I love how people on here are bashing Apple for one bug. Last time I checked Android is not p... moreYou boys and girls just dont get it. It not that its just one bug, but the type of bug and the problem it causes on the phone. Something so basic as clicking a link.
This is just one in a series of bugs that now seems to come out with each release.
Before it was the daye bug and before that there was a texting bug. It goes on and on back to ios 5-6-7 when they kept reintroducing the bug impacting battery life, wifi connectivity and ansering calls.
You never have these type of basic function bugs in Android happening and then rehappening.
IOS needs to be rewrittin from the ground up. I say this because of the type of bugs and how long it takes to fix them. 10 days to fix and release a bug causing the phone to crash due to clicking on a link? Come on!
The only explanation is there is so much spaghetti code in iOS now that they couldnt quickly identify the branch scenario causing the problem. Why? Iphones send crash reports with diagnostic info. This should have been a 1-2 day fix and release process for a world class company that Apple claims to be.
Fandroids make me laugh so hard. One bug and they all come to bash Apple. Have fun waiting for your updates to come to your phone ;) Apple is still outselling your crappy Galaxy
I love how people on here are bashing Apple for one bug. Last time I checked Android is not perfect. I owned a few Galaxy's and there were tons of bugs. That is the reason I switched to iPhone. Every software is not perfect

BossMS, 02 Apr 2016Oh com'mon-- Software nowsadays normaly had bugs~ Some Asus models even release tens of version. If we are talking for example about some game where all possible scenarios can't be replicated, sure bug can and will happen but it just bad quality assurance for basic software function and completely unacceptable.

and to think that just a few days ago it was claimed that ios 9.3 was the most stable release yet.. LoL
Anonymous, 01 Apr 2016Lol. Except this is not an issue with marshmallow.
And even if it gets taken care of and is ... moreYep. And just a couple months ago it was the bug about setting date that bricked the iPhone.
Terrible, terrible engineering and QA. Apple is slipping badly.
I still can't believe Apple iOS had this type of bug show up and that it took 10 days to get a fix out for it. Was the code really so complicated that it took 10 days to debug and fix? Really? That's telling of a number of possible problems with iOS and Apple dev-test-release processes.
As bad as this is, just as bad is the iPhone fanboys reactions and comments about Android to make themselves feel better about owning an iPhone.
Crapple iPhoney fanboys: It's because of these types of problems that people make fun of your excuses and blind support of apple and laugh when you talk about about an iPhone providing a premium experience. Nobody has more problems with their OS, their hardware design or their manufacturing than Apple.
Is this latest bug part of your premium experience?
Hearing about issues like this provide regular confirmirmations that I made the right decision when I said "no more iPhone" after my iPhone 5 (I owned the first model iPhone, a 3gs and a 4s).
Come on Apple. Your iPhone has fewer features and provides more profit per phone than any other smartphone in the industry. Yet you continually have stupid problems like this come up.
The iPhone is terrible value for the money. Apple needs to put more money into R&D and QA and less into sales and marketing so stupid crap things like this stop happening.
