Sony never lagged behind the competition in terms of camera. The S6, G5 and Z5 all of them had capable cameras. Only exception was htc m9, which had a bad camera. Anyway, I'm glad they finally improved.
Robin Waren, 12 Apr 2016Holy Jesus... HTC nails it... Spectacular camera, 24 bits audio BoomSound and Quickcharge3.0!... moreHaving quick charge 2.0 rather than 3.0 is not really a big deciding factor for me it's still super fast and as for the speaker stuff. How many people do use their phone's speaker, I don't know cause everyone I know including me use a headphone so what's your f*cking point troll?

Numbers can be rounded up or rounded down. In this case, they were rounded up. Like if you had to eat 3.2 meals a day, and meals only came in units of 1, then the number of meals you'd need to eat would be rounded UP to 4 in order to meet the requirements of 3.2 meals. I don't even know if this is what happened, that's why I said apparently.
Am I the only one who feels s7 is more prettier than HTC 10?
given the fact that S7 is water and dust resistance.
IP68 certified phones usualy lose out on looks.
How could be 'HTC 10 camera, tied for the top spot' ???
HTC 10/ photo 8.8/ video 8.6
Galaxy S7Edge/ photo 8.8/ video 8.8
Cant you see the difference?? Come on!!! LOL
Grey1213, 12 Apr 2016Rounded UP. Use your brain please. That's just how dxomark do the scores apparently.Like I said. In no world does an 87.015 merit a rounding up to 88. A 0.015 would never equate to rounding up one whole number. Stop trying to defend them, your theory is based on flawed logic. Would you like me to direct you to ANY math website or maybe the nearest math textbook?
TakingNote, 12 Apr 2016In no world does 87.015 round UP to 88. Learn basic math please.Rounded UP. Use your brain please. That's just how dxomark do the scores apparently.
HTC 10 actually got something like 87.015 which was rounded up to 88. Not really the same as the s7 which got 88.
Samsung Galaxy S7 edge - DxOMark Scores

HTC 10 Scores

HTC 10 , really is 87 second place (Total). counting error. Where are the Samples? You are wrong! (DxOMark )
I did say I am going to LOL harder if after all their efforts to tease the world and would either only achieve on par with current flagships or fall short in critic and consumer reviews/tests thereafter. At least for DxOmark ratings, they achieved the former condition. Expecting for HTC 10 to surpass or lead in reviews or tests from some of the most credibly known review bodies around, I'd LOL hard for every 'at par' or 'below the top' ratings they shall garner putting its DxO rating as the first
Robin Waren, 12 Apr 2016Holy Jesus... HTC nails it...
Spectacular camera, 24 bits audio BoomSound and Quickcharge3.0!... moreSamsung sacrificed loud speaker for water resistance.
The speaker has an extra coating to prevent water from damaging internals
Which gives out lower sound..
It comes out to personal preference if u hear more audio from speakers or headphones
If u use ur phone ruggedly or use it very carefully.
I'm from the 2nd one coz I almost ruined my Oneplus One and usually here music from headphones
Anonymous, 12 Apr 2016When a Sony scores top in dxomark: dxomark is crap! They're Sony biased. When a Samsung or ht... moreWhat dxomark does is just check sensors and the detail it preserves (whatever other aspects of photography are on a pixel level) and Sony incorporates best sensors out there in their phones but their post Processing lags behind the competition which dxomark doesn't takes into account and hence Sony phones score High along with phones from other OEMs
Impressive. Promising first hint of the capability of the HTC 10. Here's hoping for the winner. The lack of wireless charging still bugs me though. I wish someone would hurry up and figure out how to make wireless charging work with metal phones.
